Öhlins gibt für diese Position Dimension A 1 mm, Dimension B 550 mm an. Der Schlauch ist innen mit einem Gewebe verstärkt und darf nicht geknickt werden. Der Stickstoffdruck liegt je nach Einheit zwischen zehn und zwanzig bar. Fällt der Gasdruck, wird die Dämpfung im Verlauf des Hubs unregelmäßig.

Ein überholtes Federbein arbeitet wieder mit der Dämpfung, die im Datenblatt steht — vorausgesetzt, die Teile stimmen.
