Maßlich ist das Teil mit Innendurchmesser 80 mm, Schnurstärke 2.5 mm, Werkstoff NBR 70 beschrieben. Der Werkstoff muss zur Öltemperatur passen, sonst härtet der Ring aus. Wer eine Einheit überholt, tauscht selten alles: meist entscheiden wenige Positionen darüber, ob die Dämpfung wieder stimmt. An Verstellern sitzen O-Ringe an beweglichen Stellen und verschleißen dort schneller. Wer die Einheitsnummer des Federbeins kennt, bekommt von uns die passende Teileliste dazu. Ihre Lippe läuft auf der Welle und verschleißt mit jedem Zentimeter Hub. Ein Dämpfer ist kein Verschleißteil im Ganzen, sondern eine Baugruppe aus Teilen, die einzeln getauscht werden können.
