Die Nummer 04722-34 ist eindeutig; die Bezeichnung allein ist es nicht, weil Öhlins ähnliche Wortlaute über mehrere Größen verwendet. Die Nut gibt die Verpressung vor; zu wenig dichtet nicht, zu viel zerstört den Ring. Die Staubdichtung hält Schmutz ab, dichtet aber nicht gegen Öldruck.
