Funktion
Als Maß nennt Öhlins Innendurchmesser 20.35 mm, Schnurstärke 1.78 mm, Werkstoff NBR 70. Beim Einpressen darf die Dichtung nicht verkanten, sonst ist sie sofort undicht. Der Werkstoff muss zur Öltemperatur passen, sonst härtet der Ring aus. Zwischen Dichtung und Führung sitzt oft ein Stützring gegen Spaltextrusion.

Ein O-Ring wird über Innendurchmesser und Schnurstärke bestimmt, nie über den Außendurchmesser. Bei größeren Überholungen prüfen wir vorab, welche Positionen zusammengehören.
