Ausschließlich für den Rennstreckeneinsatz konzipiert, ist das Öhlins FKR Cartridge Kit Racing (TTX 25) FKR 108 ein Gabel-Upgrade im Motorsport-Format, das speziell für die Ducati Panigale 1199 S und 1199 R entwickelt wurde. Als reines Racing-Produkt besitzt es keine Zulassung für den öffentlichen Straßenverkehr – jede Konstruktionsentscheidung wurde einzig im Hinblick auf Rundenzeiten, konstantes Dämpfungsverhalten und Service-Freundlichkeit an der Rennstrecke getroffen.
Wichtige Merkmale
- Das geschlossene TTX-System wird durch eine Feder statt durch Gas unter Druck gesetzt, wodurch Druckverlust durch Undichtigkeiten ausgeschlossen ist und die Leistung über die gesamte Renn-Session konstant bleibt.
- Ein neu entwickelter Kolben in Kombination mit einer 8-mm-Kolbenstange senkt den Innendruck und sorgt für ein schnelleres Ansprechverhalten sowie eine wirklich lineare Dämpfungskurve.
- Die lineare Dämpfungscharakteristik verbessert Traktion und Fahrwerksstabilität am Vorderrad unter harten Bremsmanövern und bei schnellen Richtungswechseln messbar.
- Die 120-mm-Hub-Kartusche wird mit drei Federraten geliefert — 9,0, 9,5 und 10,0 N/mm — für eine präzise Abstimmung auf Fahrergewicht, Reifenmischung und Streckencharakteristik.
- Der einfachere Aufbau im Vergleich zu konventionellen Gasdrucksystemen macht Anpassungen an der Strecke und Werkstattservice deutlich unkomplizierter.
- Konzipiert für die Öhlins-Gabel FG 925, wie sie an der Panigale 1199 S/R verbaut ist, um Passgenauigkeit und optimale Funktion sicherzustellen.
TTX-Technologie und geschlossenes Systemdesign
Herkömmliche Kartuschensysteme nutzen Gasdruck, um die Dämpfungsflüssigkeit belüftet und ansprechbereit zu halten. Der TTX-Ansatz von Öhlins ersetzt diese Gasfüllung durch eine vorgespannte Feder innerhalb einer versiegelten Kartusche. Das Ergebnis ist eine Architektur, die durch Mikro-Undichtigkeiten keinen Druck verlieren kann — ein Fehlerbild, das konventionelle Systeme über ein Rennwochenende hinweg schleichend verschlechtern kann, ohne dass der Fahrer es bemerkt. Mit der TTX-25-Kartusche bleibt die Dämpfungskraft exakt dort, wo sie eingestellt wurde — Runde für Runde.
Die 8-mm-Kolbenstange senkt in Kombination mit dem neu entwickelten TTX-Kolben den Arbeitsdruck über den gesamten Federweg. Niedrigerer Druck bedeutet, dass die Gabel schneller auf kleine Impulse reagiert — genau jene Fahrbahnunebenheiten und feinen Fahrwerksbewegungen, die darüber entscheiden, wie sicher ein Fahrer Kurventempo mitnehmen kann. Die lineare Kennlinie des Systems macht die Fahrwerksabstimmung zudem berechenbarer: Eine Änderung an Druck- oder Zugstufe erzeugt eine proportionale, nachvollziehbare Veränderung im Fahrgefühl statt der nichtlinearen Reaktion, die die Abstimmungsarbeit bei einfacheren Kartuschen erschweren kann.
Streckeneinsatz und professionelle Montage
Das FKR 108 ist ein Motorsport-Bauteil. Es besitzt keine Straßenzulassung und darf ausschließlich auf abgesperrten Rennstrecken eingesetzt werden. Der Einbau erfordert spezielles Öhlins-Werkzeug sowie fundierte Kenntnisse im Service von Hochleistungsgabeln. Öhlins empfiehlt dringend, den Einbau von einer autorisierten Öhlins-Servicewerkstatt durchführen zu lassen. Eine Einbauanleitung liegt dem Paket bei, um qualifizierte Techniker zu unterstützen.
