Wo es sitzt
Öhlins gibt für diese Position Innendurchmesser 16 mm, Außendurchmesser 40 mm an. Sein Sitz im Rohr ist eine eigene Dichtstelle mit eigenem O-Ring. Nach dem Einbau wird die Einheit kurz durchgefedert, bevor sie unter Druck gesetzt wird. Beim Einpressen darf die Dichtung nicht verkanten, sonst ist sie sofort undicht.

Öhlins hält Positionen oft über Modellgenerationen hinweg gleich, tauscht aber ohne Ankündigung Werkstoffe. Eine gealterte Dichtung wird hart und verliert die Vorspannung an der Lippe. Sie können die Nummer auch mit der Rechnung der letzten Wartung abgleichen. Eine Dichtung, die einmal trocken gelaufen ist, bleibt beschädigt, auch wenn wieder Öl anliegt. Ihre Lippe läuft auf der Welle und verschleißt mit jedem Zentimeter Hub.
Zuordnung über die Nummer
Nummer 22153-01 und Maß gehören zusammen; weicht eines ab, ist es die falsche Position. Die Führung im Kopf nimmt Querkräfte auf und schützt so die Dichtlippe. Beim Ausbau wird er nicht geschlagen, sondern gezogen — sonst verzieht sich die Bohrung.
