Der Nexx Y.100 ist ein leichter Integralhelm für Stadt und Landstraße. Nexx nennt den Windabweiser bei den mitgelieferten Zubehörteilen des Y.100; hier gibt es ihn als Originalersatzteil. Nexx selbst spricht von einem Kinn-Windstopper, denn er schließt die Öffnung zwischen der Unterkante des Kinnbügels und dem Kinn.
Aussehen und Aufbau
Das Nexx-Produktfoto zeigt ein gebogenes, gepolstertes Teil mit glatter schwarzer Mittelfläche in Lederoptik, einem abgesteppten Stoffrand und einer festeren schwarzen Lippe mit kleinen Einkerbungen an der Unterkante. Die Form folgt der Innenkontur des Kinnbügels und füllt die Lücke, ohne auf das Kinn zu drücken.
Was er bringt
Bei einem Integralhelm kommt viel Luft und Geräusch von unten. Mit eingesetztem Abweiser erreicht auf der Autobahn weniger kalte Luft Gesicht und Hals, und im Helm wird es ruhiger. Im Sommerverkehr nehmen manche Fahrer ihn heraus, um mehr Luft zu bekommen, was ohne Werkzeug geht, weil er nicht verschraubt ist.
Einsetzen
Die gemeinsame Anleitung für Y.100 und Y.100R zeigt den Kinn-Windabweiser mit den Schritten abnehmen und anbringen und vermerkt, dass er nur bei einigen Modellen vorhanden ist. Er wird von innen in den unteren Rand des Kinnbügels gedrückt und lässt sich von Hand wieder herausziehen. Achten Sie darauf, dass er rundum gleichmäßig anliegt, sonst pfeift an einer Seite Luft vorbei.
