Das Visier des X.R3R hängt nicht an einfachen Drehpunkten. Nexx verbaut das Recoil-Visiersystem mit je einer Mechanikplatte links und rechts an der Schale. Die Platten halten das Visier, geben die Raststufen vor und erlauben den schnellen Visierwechsel. Dieses Set ersetzt beide Seiten auf einmal, etwa wenn das Visier nicht mehr rastet, klappert oder nach einem Sturz aus der Halterung gebrochen ist.
Anzeichen für eine verschlissene Mechanik
Ein Visier, das bei Tempo von selbst herunterfällt, Raststufen, die nicht mehr einrasten, ein abgebrochener Hebel oder eine Platte mit Riss, nachdem der Helm vom Sitz gefallen ist, sind typische Fälle. Auch Sand und alter Schmutz reiben den Kunststoff auf, sodass das Visier nicht mehr sauber an der Dichtung anliegt. Das merkst Du am Pfeifen oder an Wasser an der Oberkante bei Regen.
Inhalt laut Foto
Auf dem Nexx-Bild sind zwei schwarze Mechanikplatten zu sehen, spiegelbildlich für links und rechts, dazu vier kleine runde schwarze Teile. Was diese runden Teile genau sind, schreibt Nexx nicht, deshalb raten wir hier nicht. Visier, Schrauben und Visierdichtung sind nicht abgebildet und gehören nicht zum Paket.
Bevor Du anfängst
Nimm zuerst das Visier ab. Merk Dir, wie die alten Platten sitzen, am besten mit einem Handyfoto, denn linke und rechte Platte lassen sich nicht tauschen. Leg den Helm auf ein weiches Tuch, damit die Schale keine Kratzer bekommt, und sammle jedes Kleinteil, das Du abnimmst. Wenn Du unsicher bist, erledigt eine Werkstatt den Tausch in wenigen Minuten.
Warum beide Seiten
Die Platten arbeiten als Paar. Eine neue Platte auf der einen und eine verschlissene auf der anderen Seite können dazu führen, dass das Visier schief schließt. Deshalb liefert Nexx sie als Satz links und rechts unter einer Nummer.
Passender Helm
Gemacht für den Nexx X.R3R. Für den X.R5R ist es nicht gedacht, der hat eine andere, kleinere Mechanik. Beim X.R3R Speedcore verkauft Nexx die Visiere als X.R3R-Teile, für das Mechanik-Set selbst fehlt aber eine ausdrückliche Bestätigung. Frag uns in dem Fall vorher.
