Atemluft ist warm und feucht, und in einem geschlossenen Rennhelm zieht sie direkt zum Visier. Der Nasenabweiser des X.R3R, bei Nexx Breath Deflector genannt, sitzt unmittelbar unter der Nase und lenkt diese Luft nach unten Richtung Kinnbereich. Hier bekommst Du das schwarze Ersatzteil für den X.R3R.
Warum er wichtig ist
Beschlag beginnt meist an der Unterkante des Visiers, genau dort, wo Du auf den Scheitelpunkt oder das Auto vor Dir schaust. Der Abweiser hält den Großteil der ausgeatmeten Luft von dieser Stelle fern. Zusammen mit der Pinlock-Scheibe, die Nexx bei den aktuellen X.R3R-Versionen mitliefert, sorgt er dafür, dass das Visier in der Boxengasse oder an der Ampel klar bleibt.
Das Teil im Detail
Nexx zeigt ein schwarzes Formteil mit erhöhter Mitte, die der Nasenform folgt, und zwei flachen Flügeln zur Seite. Zwei kleine Laschen an der Unterseite halten es im Helm. Nexx führt es unter dem Code 04XR399C25 mit dem Hinweis kompatibel mit X.R3R, in der Ausstattungsliste des Helms heißt es herausnehmbarer Atemschutz.
Wann Du Ersatz brauchst
Nasenabweiser gehen gern verloren, wenn die Ausstattung zum Waschen herauskommt, oder die Laschen brechen nach vielen Wechseln ab. Mancher nimmt ihn im Sommer für mehr Luft heraus und findet ihn im Herbst nicht wieder. Fehlt er, beschlägt das Visier an kalten Morgen deutlich häufiger.
Einsetzen
Die beiden Laschen an der Unterseite halten den Abweiser im Kinnteil, und Nexx führt ihn als herausnehmbar. Achte darauf, dass die Flügel flach am Kinnteil anliegen und nicht auf die Nase drücken. Berührt er Deine Nase, prüf zuerst die Helmgröße, denn ein zu großer Helm rutscht tiefer ins Gesicht.
Kompatibilität
Nexx bestätigt das Teil für den Nexx X.R3R. Die Speedcore-Version wird nicht eigens genannt, frag uns, wenn Du diesen Helm hast. Nicht verwechseln mit dem Kinnteil-Windabweiser, der den Spalt unter dem Kinnteil schließt.
