Ducatis WorldSBK-Einsatz läuft mit einem für den Wettbewerb gebauten Dashboard, nicht mit dem Panel, das eine Serien-Panigale V4, in der Ausführung S oder R, ab Werk erhält, und Melotti Racing fertigt dafür einen eigenen Impact Absorber. Unter dem Code DC.DU.418W1 und in Schwarz ausgeführt, ist diese Abdeckung Melottis Version für das, was die Preisliste als WSBK-Dashboard bezeichnet. Wer das Serien-Cockpit fährt, sollte stattdessen zu Melottis DC.DU.3181 greifen oder, beim 2025er-Modell, zur DC.DU.3251.

Während die Serien-Panigale-Baureihe über Grundausführung, S und R ein Dashboard führt und das 2025er-Modell ein zweites, läuft das WorldSBK-Programm mit einer eigenen Instrumentierung, die um die Elektronikregeln der Meisterschaft aufgebaut ist. Diese beiden Welten brauchen unterschiedliche Abdeckungen: Das straßentaugliche Cockpit wird durch Melottis DC.DU.3181 oder DC.DU.3251 geschützt, während das WSBK-Dashboard diese DC.DU.418W1 erhält. Wer ein V4-Projekt um ein echtes WorldSBK-spezifisches Dashboard aufbaut, ob für Vorführfahrten oder einen Aufbau für die abgesperrte Rennstrecke, sollte die DC.DU.418W1 montieren und keine der beiden Straßen-Cockpit-Abdeckungen.
Zwei SBK-Abdeckungen, eine offene Frage
Melottis Preisliste stellt diese Abdeckung neben eine zweite, Code DC.DU.418N1, die als SBK-Version statt WSBK bezeichnet wird. Beide sind unterschiedlich bepreist und als getrennte Teile gelistet, aber Melotti Racing hat nicht veröffentlicht, was sie tatsächlich unterscheidet, ob es sich um eine andere Dashboard-Form, eine laufende Änderung zwischen Saisons oder etwas anderes handelt.
