Nehmen Sie nicht ersatzweise den matten Bügel: An einem glänzenden Helm liest sich ein seidenmattes Kinnteil als anderer Werkstoff und nicht als leicht abweichender Ton — und es ist das Erste, was von vorn auffällt.
Das Kinnteil ist das Bauteil eines Klapphelms, das die Prügel bezieht. Es ist der tiefste Punkt, wenn der Helm auf einem Tank oder einer Werkbank abgestellt wird, es ist das, worauf ein fallender Helm landet, und es ist der Abschnitt, der bei jedem Tankstopp und an jeder Ampel angefasst wird. Es ersetzen zu können — statt des ganzen Helms — nachdem es auf einem Parkplatz Schaden genommen hat, ist einer der praktischen Vorteile der Klappbauweise.
Es ist außerdem eine zertifizierte Struktur, keine Abdeckung. Unter ECE 22.06 wird das Kinnteil auf Schlag geprüft und seine Verriegelung darauf, dass sie geschlossen bleibt — das bringt dem Helm die Klasse P ein; SHARP hat dieselbe Eigenschaft unabhängig gemessen und sie bei 63 % der Schläge als vollständig verriegelt protokolliert. Setzen Sie das richtige Teil ein, montieren Sie es sauber und prüfen Sie vor der Fahrt, dass die Verriegelung auf beiden Seiten spürbar einrastet.
🔴 Eine Artikelnummer deckt alle Helmgrößen ab — das Kinnteil ist über beide Schalen hinweg identisch. Geliefert wird nur der Bügel; Ratschenmechanik, Stifte und Platten stehen getrennt.
