Warum ein Innenfutter ein Verschleißteil ist
Das Polster ist der einzige Teil eines Helms, der Sie berührt, und es ist der Teil, der am schnellsten altert. Der Schaum verdichtet sich mit der Nutzung dauerhaft: Nach einigen Saisons beginnt sich ein Helm, der einst eng saß, locker anzufühlen, und ein lockerer Helm bewegt sich bei einem Aufprall, statt an Ort und Stelle zu bleiben. Schweiß, Sonnencreme und Haarprodukte zersetzen den Stoff im selben Zeitraum. Der Austausch des Innenfutters stellt sowohl die Passform als auch die Hygiene wieder her – und kostet nur einen Bruchteil eines neuen Helms.
Passform anpassen
Dieses Set hat noch einen zweiten Nutzen. Da das Innenfutter unabhängig von der Schale dimensioniert ist, lässt sich damit die Passform des Dragon feinjustieren: Bestellen Sie eine Größe kleiner für festeren Halt, wenn der Helm mit der Zeit lockerer geworden ist, oder eine Größe größer, wenn er an den Wangen schon immer etwas eng war. Fahrer zwischen zwei Helmgrößen nutzen genau das oft, um eine passende Passform zu erreichen, statt Kompromisse einzugehen.
X-Static® Silber
Der Stoff ist mit echter Silberfaser gewebt. Silber ist von Natur aus antibakteriell und unterdrückt so die Bakterien, die Helmgeruch verursachen, statt sie nur zu überdecken – deshalb riecht ein gepflegtes Dragon-Innenfutter auch nach einem langen, heißen Sommer noch angenehm. Es ist zudem hypoallergen und atmungsaktiv, und der Schaum ist lasergeschnitten für eine gleichmäßige Auflagefläche am Kopf.
Waschen
Das Set ist vollständig herausnehmbar und waschbar. Handwäsche in lauwarmem Wasser mit mildem Waschmittel, das Wasser auspressen statt auswringen, und fernab direkter Wärme lufttrocknen – ein Heizkörper oder Wäschetrockner lässt den Schaum schrumpfen und verändert die Passform dauerhaft.
