Fester Sitz
Ein Rahmen aus nur einem Compound hält den Aufbau schlicht, die angesetzten Outrigger verteilen den Bandzug und verbessern die Helmkompatibilität. Damit das Band nicht über die Schale wandert, ist es auf 45 mm Breite mit einem rutschhemmenden 5-mm-Silikonstreifen versehen. Staub und Matsch finden über die untere Kante hinaus, die Leatt selbstentwässernd gestaltet.
Polster und OTG
Für die Kontaktzone wählt Leatt einen Schaum aus drei Lagen und zwei Dichten mit schweißbindendem Fleecefutter. Eine Passform über der Brille gehört zum Konzept, die Korrekturbrille darf also darunter bleiben.
Bereit für Abreißscheiben
Die Halterungen für Abreißscheiben gehören zum Rahmen, schnelle Klarsicht auf der Strecke ist mit Folien also möglich. Wenn Ihnen Roll-Off lieber ist: Die Brille ist für das Vizion-45-mm-System als optionales Zubehör vorbereitet. Leatt lässt die Brille nach CE EN 1938:2010 zertifizieren, im Einklang mit der PSA-Verordnung (EU) 2016/425.
Sicht auf der Strecke
Das klare Glas mit 90 % ist in der Reihe die Option für wenig Licht, typischerweise also Wolken, Schatten und Trails unter Bäumen. Gegen Steinschlag und Sand hat die Brille in Grau eine kratzfeste Hartschicht, gegen Beschlag eine Antifog-Oberfläche auf der Innenseite. Für eine zweite Scheibe lohnt der Blick auf die separat erhältliche Vizion-Reihe mit 22 bis 90 % VLT.
Was Sie wissen sollten
An wolkenlosen Tagen bietet das klare 90-%-Glas keinen Blendschutz, gut zu wissen vor einem Sommerrennen. Sie bekommen die Pins für Tear-Offs, nicht die Folien selbst, und das Roll-Off-Set bleibt optional.
Farbe
Ein neutrales Grau zwischen Schwarz und Weiß, das sich mit fast jedem Farbschema verträgt. Es versteckt Staub besser als hellere Töne und wirkt am Helm zurückhaltend, ideal, wenn Sie Ihre Ausrüstungsfarben oft wechseln.
