Ein junger Fahrer sollte schnell und unkompliziert in seine Schutzausrüstung kommen. Die Leatt Fusion Vest 2.0 Jr macht das möglich, indem sie Nacken-, Brust-, Rücken-, Flanken- und Schulterschutz in einer einzigen Weste vereint. Ein Teil anziehen – und die wichtigsten Zonen des Oberkörpers samt Nackenstütze sind abgedeckt.
Leatt nennt die Fusion Vest den einfachsten Weg, junge Fahrer zu schützen. Zur Einstellung braucht es kein Werkzeug, Oberkörper und Schultern schützt weicher, belüfteter 3DF-AirFit-Schaum, und der 3D-Schnitt sorgt für Komfort rundum. Die schwarze Version bleibt optisch zurückhaltend und passt so zu jeder Kinder-Ausrüstung.

Zertifizierung
Die Aufprallzonen sind nach CE mit Level 1 geprüft und zertifiziert: die Brust nach EN 1621-3, der Rücken nach EN 1621-2, die Schultern nach EN 1621-1. Außerdem ist die Fusion Vest 2.0 Jr ISR-bewertet; Leatt veröffentlicht dafür eine EU-Konformitätserklärung und ein CE-Zertifikat.
Nackenstütze und Oberkörperschutz in einem
Oben in der Weste sitzt eine integrierte Nackenstütze. Ihre Struktur besteht aus glasfaserverstärktem Polyamidharz, und die hintere Thoraxstrebe hat eine Sollbruchstelle, die im Notfall abbrechen soll. Darunter trägt die Weste CE-zertifizierten Aufprallschutz für Brust, Rücken und Schultern, dazu Flankenschutz an den Seiten.
Leatt verweist auf eine unabhängige Motorradstudie von Action Sports EMS. Demnach hilft die Fusion Vest, kritische Verletzungen der Halswirbelsäule um bis zu 89 % und das Risiko von Schlüsselbeinverletzungen um bis zu 45 % zu senken. Das sind Herstellerangaben auf Basis dieser Studie.
Komfort und Details
3DF AirFit ist der weiche, belüftete Aufprallschaum von Leatt. Er sorgt dafür, dass sich junge Fahrer während der ganzen Fahrt wohlfühlen, und liegt unter dem Trikot eng am Körper. Eine Clip-in-Funktion für die Startnummer rundet die Weste ab. Geliefert wird sie in plastikfreier Verpackung.

Was Sie wissen sollten
Die Fusion Vest schützt Brust, Rücken, Schultern, Flanken und Nacken, nicht aber Ellbogen und Knie – dafür brauchen Sie separate Kinderprotektoren. Alle Aufprallzonen sind mit Level 1 zertifiziert. Auf der Leatt-Webseite steht als Gewicht „from 1.38g“, was wir als 1,38 kg lesen; ältere Leatt-Produktdaten nennen 1,5 kg. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Größe zur Körpergröße Ihres Kindes passt – eine Nackenstütze wirkt nur, wenn sie richtig sitzt.
Farbe
Die schwarze Fusion Vest kombiniert laut Leatt-Produktbildern eine schwarze Nackenstütze und schwarze Platten mit weißen Leatt-Logos und rot-weißen Schnallen an den Seitengurten. Die dezente Wahl, die zu jedem Trikot passt und nicht jeden Kratzer nach einem Sturz zeigt.
