Die Leatt Moto RaceCover Jacket ist eine leichte Regen-Überjacke für den Moment, in dem Renntag oder Ausfahrt nass werden. Sie wird über das Jersey gezogen, hält Regen und Wind ab, und weil das Material durchscheinend ist, bleiben Ausrüstung und Startnummer darunter sichtbar. Mit angegebenen 250 g ist sie leicht genug, um dauerhaft in der Ausrüstungstasche zu bleiben.
Leatt hat sie so geschnitten, dass sie mit und ohne Körperprotektor passt; sie geht also über einen Brustpanzer ebenso wie über ein einfaches Jersey.

Material und Belüftung
Die Hülle besteht aus 85 % Polyurethan und 15 % Polyester, einer weichen, biegsamen Folie, durch die Ihr Rennoutfit sichtbar bleibt. Regenjacken neigen zum Überhitzen; deshalb setzt Leatt große Mesh-Einsätze aus Polyester an beiden Seiten und unter den Armen ein, damit während der Fahrt Luft zirkuliert.
Passform
Die RaceCover ist für das Tragen mit oder ohne Körperprotektor zugeschnitten. Sie lässt sich direkt über ein Renn-Jersey ziehen, vorne schließt ein wasserdichter Reißverschluss.
Was Sie wissen sollten
Es handelt sich um einen Regenschutz, nicht um Schutzkleidung: keine Protektoren, keine Verstärkungen, keine Klasse nach EN 17092. Die Mesh-Flächen, die für Kühlung sorgen, sind an den Seiten luftdurchlässig. Die Jacke ist daher für Schauer und nasse Strecken gedacht, nicht für komplett dichten Schutz im Wolkenbruch. Die Größen reichen von S bis 5XL, US- und EU-Entsprechungen finden Sie in der Tabelle unten. Geliefert wird in plastikfreier Verpackung.
Farbe
Transparent heißt hier eine durchscheinende, leicht milchig graue Hülle, durch die das Jersey darunter erkennbar bleibt. Ein dunkles Leatt-Logoband verläuft über Brust und unteren Rücken, die dunklen Mesh-Seitenteile rahmen den Oberkörper ein. Sponsorenlogos und Startnummern bleiben so auch im Regen lesbar.
