Der Leatt Moto 4.5 Lite Glove bietet etwas, das die leichteren 2.5-Handschuhe nicht haben: Aufprallschutz. Schlankes, 3D-geformtes ReaFlex-Gel deckt die Knöchel sowie den dritten und vierten Finger ab, und der Handschuh ist nach EN 13594:2015 CE-zertifiziert. Trotzdem behält er ein belüftetes Mesh-Obermaterial und eine ultradünne NanoGrip-Innenhand.
In Speed Khaki Brown hat er zudem einen der eigenständigsten Looks der Reihe: ein oliv-khakifarbener Handschuh mit einer orange-schwarzen Schachbrettgrafik am Bündchen.

Schutz und Zertifizierung
ReaFlex ist das Gelmaterial, das Leatt für die Aufprallzonen verwendet. An diesem Handschuh ist es dreidimensional geformt und schlank gehalten; es schützt Knöchel sowie dritten und vierten Finger, ohne die Beweglichkeit der Hand einzuschränken. Der Handschuh ist als persönliche Schutzausrüstung nach Verordnung (EU) 2016/425 zertifiziert und nach EN 13594:2015 geprüft, der europäischen Norm für Motorradhandschuhe.
Innenhand und Gefühl
Die Innenhand besteht aus NanoGrip, das Leatt als ultradünn und strapazierfähig beschreibt, mit Grip bei Nässe und Trockenheit. Sie ist flexibel und atmungsaktiv, vorgebogen und nahtlos, und ihre Verstärkung liegt verdeckt im Inneren, statt außen aufgenäht zu sein.
Belüftung
Auf dem Handrücken lässt ein offenes Mesh Luft durch, und auch die FormFit-Fingerseiten bestehen aus Stretch-Mesh. Damit ist der 4.5 Lite ein Handschuh mit Protektoren, der trotzdem zu warmen Motocross- und Endurotagen passt.
Passform und Verschluss
Der Schnitt ist eng und vorgebogen. FormFit-Nähte entlang der Finger verbessern Grip und Gefühl, ein verstellbarer Klettriemen schließt das Handgelenk.

Mehrreihige Nähte aus Coats®-Stretchgarn sorgen für Haltbarkeit, die Fingerspitzen sind touchscreenfähig, und Leatt liefert den Handschuh in plastikfreier Verpackung. Die Materialzusammensetzung lautet 90 % Polyester und 10 % Elasthan.
Was Sie wissen sollten
Der 4.5 Lite ist nach EN 13594:2015 CE-zertifiziert, eine Leistungsstufe (1 oder 2) ist jedoch nicht angegeben, und sein Schutz besteht aus schlankem Gel statt harter Knöchelschalen. Das Mesh-Obermaterial ist nicht wasserdicht und isoliert nicht; es ist also ein Handschuh für milde bis heiße Bedingungen. Die Größen reichen von S bis XXL.
Farbe
Speed Khaki Brown ist ein oliver Khakiton auf Handrücken und Fingern, die Gelpolster sind eine Spur dunkler. Eine orange-schwarze Schachbrettgrafik und ein Leatt-Logo sitzen nahe dem Bündchen und auf der Handoberseite, die Innenhand ist grau. Der gedeckte Grundton kaschiert Staub gut, die orangefarbenen Akzente halten ihn sportlich. Die Farbe gehört zur neuen Kollektion V27.
