Die Leatt ADV FlowTour 5.5 ist zuerst für Hitze gebaut. Große X-Flow-Mesh-Felder lassen die Luft direkt durch die Jacke strömen. Damit ist sie die richtige Wahl für Sommertouren, Wüstenpisten und langsame technische Passagen, in denen eine geschlossene Jacke Sie schnell durchschwitzen ließe. Für den Wetterumschwung reist eine separate HydraDri-EVO-Überjacke in der hinteren Cargotasche mit.
In Waldgrün wird die dunkle Hülle von olivgrünen Mesh-Zonen an Brust und Rücken aufgehellt, ein Farbton, der zu Schotterpisten und Waldwegen passt.

Belüftung zuerst
Während Tourenjacken meist auf Lüftungsöffnungen setzen, die man öffnet und schließt, bleiben die Mesh-Felder der FlowTour 5.5 immer offen. Leatt spricht von permanentem Luftstrom. Zusammen mit einem weichen Neopren-Abschluss am Kragen bleibt die Jacke auch dann angenehm, wenn Sie an einem heißen Tag langsam im Stehen fahren. Das RipStop-Hauptmaterial umgibt das Mesh und deckt die Bereiche ab, die bei einem Sturz am stärksten belastet werden.
Regenschutz
Die wasserdichte Schicht ist kein Futter, sondern eine Überjacke. Kommt Regen, holen Sie sie aus der hinteren Cargotasche und ziehen sie über die Mesh-Jacke oder tragen sie abseits des Motorrads allein. HydraDri EVO mit 20.000 mm und 20.000 g/m² hält Regen ab und lässt Feuchtigkeit hinaus. Leatt nennt das ein 4-Wege-System: Mesh-Jacke, Mesh-Jacke mit Überjacke, Überjacke allein und beide Lagen kombiniert als Windschutz.
Protektoren und Zertifizierung
3DF-Polster mit Level 2 sitzen am Rücken (EN 1621-2) sowie an Schultern und Ellbogen (EN 1621-1). Eine Tasche für einen Brustprotektor mit Level 2 ist vorbereitet, der Protektor selbst ist optional und liegt nicht bei. Die gesamte Jacke ist nach Klasse AA zertifiziert; das Mesh bedeutet also keinen Abstieg in der Schutzklasse gegenüber Leatts laminierten Tourenmodellen.
Trinksystem und Stauraum
Eine Rückentasche nimmt eine 1,5-Liter-HydraPak-Blase auf, mit Führung für den Trinkschlauch, einem Schlauchclip und innen liegenden Gurten zur Gewichtsverteilung, damit die Last die Jacke nicht nach hinten zieht. Die Blase gibt es separat. Vorn finden Sie zwei große wasserdichte Taschen, eine Brusttasche mit Reißverschluss und eine wasserdichte Handytasche; die große Rückentasche nimmt auch die Überjacke auf.
Einstellmöglichkeiten
Eine Steckschnalle mit Gurtband regelt die Taillenweite, Druckknöpfe passen Ober- und Unterarme an (die unteren halten zugleich die Ellbogenprotektoren in Position), Klett schließt Ärmelbündchen und Saum. YKK-Hauptreißverschlüsse und ein langer Verbindungsreißverschluss zur passenden Leatt-Hose vervollständigen den Sitz.
Was Sie wissen sollten
Die Mesh-Jacke selbst ist nicht wasserdicht. An nassen Tagen brauchen Sie die Überjacke darüber, und bei kühlem Wetter lässt das offene Mesh Wind durch; ein Thermofutter hat diese Jacke nicht. Trinkblase und Brustprotektor kaufen Sie separat. Die Jacke wiegt etwa 2.100 g. Leatt gewährt fünf Jahre Garantie und verpackt plastikfrei.
Farbe
Waldgrün kombiniert einen schwarzen RipStop-Körper mit olivgrünem Mesh an Brust, Rücken und Oberärmeln, durch das ein feines Punktmuster schimmert. Das Grün wirkt erdig statt grell und trägt wenig zur Sichtbarkeit im Verkehr bei; bei Dunkelheit übernehmen das die Reflexelemente. Staub und Schlamm fallen auf den dunklen Ärmeln weniger auf als auf einer hellen Jacke.
