Adventure-Fahren in heißen Regionen verlangt eine Jacke, die atmet, ohne auf Protektoren zu verzichten. Die FlowTour 5.5 in Stealth Schwarz/Grau antwortet darauf mit einer stark durchbrochenen Mesh-Hülle, die trotzdem nach Klasse AA zertifiziert ist. Die Stealth-Farbe hält den Look schlicht und dunkel, und diese Version gibt es in den Größen S bis 5XL.
Für Regen legt Leatt eine leichte HydraDri-EVO-Jacke bei, die sich in der Rückentasche verstauen lässt und bei Bedarf über das Mesh gezogen wird.

Schutz ohne Hitzestau
Leatt kombiniert die luftige Bauweise mit 3DF-Protektoren: einem Rückeneinsatz mit Level 2 und Level-2-Polstern für Schultern und Ellbogen. Druckknopf-Versteller an den Unterarmen halten die Ellbogenpolster auf dem Gelenk. Wer Brustschutz möchte, ergänzt einen optionalen Brustprotektor mit Level 2. All das steckt in einem Kleidungsstück, das als Ganzes Klasse AA trägt, dieselbe Klasse wie Leatts wasserdichte Tourenjacken.
Das Lagensystem
Leatt zählt vier Einsatzarten der FlowTour 5.5. Bei Hitze fahren Sie nur mit der Mesh-Jacke; setzt Regen ein, kommt die HydraDri-EVO-Überjacke darüber; an kühlen Morgen kombinieren Sie beide als winddichte Lösung; und am Lagerplatz tragen Sie die Regenjacke allein. Wird sie nicht gebraucht, verschwindet die Überjacke in der großen hinteren Cargotasche.
Hülle und Material
Hauptmaterial ist Leatt RipStop, kombiniert mit großen X-Flow-Mesh-Zonen, die die Luft in Bewegung halten. Ein weicher Neopren-Rand am Kragen verhindert Scheuern am Hals auf langen Etappen. Reflexdetails rund um die Jacke helfen bei schwachem Licht, die Hauptreißverschlüsse liefert YKK.
Unterwegs
Für lange Etappen ohne Trinkpause nimmt die Rückentasche eine 1,5-Liter-HydraPak-Blase auf (nicht enthalten), mit Schlauchweg, Clip-Halter und innen liegenden Gurten, die das Gewicht verteilen. Zwei große wasserdichte Fronttaschen, eine Brusttasche mit Reißverschluss und eine wasserdichte Handytasche schützen Papiere und Elektronik. Eine Steckschnalle am Gurtband regelt die Taille, Klett zieht Ärmelbündchen und Saum zu, und der lange Verbindungsreißverschluss verbindet die Jacke mit passenden Leatt-Hosen. Eine Leatt-Nackenstütze lässt sich mit der Jacke tragen.
Passende Hose
Die belüftete FlowTour 5.5 Hose in Stealth Schwarz/Grau folgt demselben X-Flow-Mesh-Konzept, trägt ebenfalls Klasse AA und lässt sich über den langen Verbindungsreißverschluss an diese Jacke koppeln.
Was Sie wissen sollten
Weil das Mesh bewusst offen ist, braucht die FlowTour 5.5 ihre Überjacke, um trocken zu bleiben, und sie hat kein Thermofutter für kaltes Wetter. Brustprotektor und Trinkblase sind nicht im Karton. Leatt gibt fünf Jahre Garantie und verschickt die Jacke ohne Plastikverpackung. Das Gewicht liegt bei rund 2.100 g.
Farbe
Stealth Schwarz/Grau hält alles dunkel: schwarze RipStop-Flächen, schwarzes Mesh mit dezenter Punktstruktur an Brust und Rücken und eine hellbraune Einfassung am Frontreißverschluss sowie an den Leatt-Logos. Schwarz nimmt mehr Sonnenwärme auf als helle Töne, das offene Mesh gleicht davon aber viel aus. In der Dämmerung sorgen vor allem die Reflexelemente für Kontrast.
