Ausschließlich für den professionellen Motorsport entwickelt, bietet die K-Tech KTR-4 Gabel mit Independent Damping System (IDS) ein Niveau an Fahrwerkskontrolle, das Serien-Gabeln schlicht nicht erreichen. Die Teile-Nr. 130-017-770 bezeichnet diese 43-mm-Kartuschengabel, die durchgehend aus Aluminium der Luftfahrtqualität 7075-T6 gefertigt und mit DLC-beschichteten, superfinish-behandelten Tauchrohren ausgestattet ist – konstruktive Entscheidungen, die Sicherheit und Reproduzierbarkeit ins Zentrum der Bauweise stellen. Der Einbau muss durch ein autorisiertes K-Tech Service Center erfolgen, um maximale Sicherheit und Leistung zu gewährleisten; die Gabel ist ausschließlich für den Streckeneinsatz zugelassen.
Wichtigste Merkmale

- Standrohre und Achsklemmen aus 7075-T6-Aluminium – derselben Legierung, die auch in Luftfahrtstrukturen verwendet wird – für maximale Steifigkeit und minimales ungefedertes Gewicht.
- DLC-beschichtete (Diamond-Like Carbon), superfinish-behandelte Tauchrohre reduzieren die Reibung auf ein Minimum, verbessern das Ansprechverhalten bei kleinen Unebenheiten und sorgen Runde für Runde für ein gleichbleibendes Dämpfungsverhalten.
- Kompatibel mit Bremsscheiben von 290 mm bis 320 mm Durchmesser bei Verwendung von 108-mm-Zentralbefestigungs-Bremssätteln – damit wird die Mehrheit der rennsporttauglichen Bremssattelkonfigurationen abgedeckt.
Technik und Konstruktion
Die KTR-4 IDS ist das Ergebnis der umfangreichen Erfahrung von K-Tech als Fahrwerkslieferant für Teams der World Superbike und der British Superbike. Das Independent Damping System legt die Druckstufendämpfung in einen Gabelholm und die Zugstufendämpfung in den anderen, wodurch die bei konventionellen Kartuschenkonstruktionen typische gegenseitige Beeinflussung entfällt. Jeder Kreislauf lässt sich isoliert abstimmen, sodass eine Änderung der Druckstufe eine reine Druckstufenreaktion erzeugt, ohne die Zugstufe unbeabsichtigt zu beeinflussen. Das macht die Fahrwerksabstimmung unter Rennbedingungen schneller, reproduzierbarer und berechenbarer.
Die Standrohre und Achsklemmen aus 7075-T6-Aluminium widerstehen den enormen Biegekräften bei harten Bremsmanövern, ohne nachzugeben – das überträgt sich direkt in Lenkpräzision beim Kurveneingang. Die DLC-Beschichtung der 43-mm-Tauchrohre ist härter als herkömmliche Verchromung und reduziert die Losbrechkraft drastisch, sodass die Gabel Fahrbahnunebenheiten bei jedem Tempo folgt, ohne das Klemmgefühl, das die Rückmeldung vom Vorderrad verschleiern kann.
Einstellung und Abstimmung
Die KTR-4 IDS wird mit drei Federpaaren unterschiedlicher Federraten ausgeliefert, sodass die passende Rate für Fahrer und Strecke bereits vor dem Einbau gewählt werden kann. Der 18-mm-Vorspannbereich ermöglicht anschließend die Feinabstimmung des statischen Negativfederwegs, ohne die Federn zu wechseln. Die Druckstufen- und Zugstufeneinsteller mit jeweils 30 Klicks arbeiten mit einer spürbaren Rasterung für zuverlässige, reproduzierbare Änderungen Klick für Klick – auch in der Boxengasse zwischen den Sessions. Alle nötigen Einstellwerkzeuge sind im Lieferumfang enthalten.
Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise
Der Einbau der K-Tech KTR-4 IDS Gabel erfordert spezielle, zum jeweiligen Motorrad passende Aftermarket-Gabelbrücken, Lenker und Achseinsätze. Diese Komponenten sind nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten und müssen separat beschafft werden. Die Montage darf ausschließlich durch ein autorisiertes K-Tech Service Center erfolgen. Diese Gabel ist ausschließlich für den Streckeneinsatz zugelassen und darf nicht im öffentlichen Straßenverkehr verwendet werden.
