Jedes CNC-gefertigte Bauteil entsteht nach den strengen Toleranzen von K-Tech, und die Einheit lässt sich bei wachsenden Ansprüchen vollständig auf Pro-Spezifikation aufrüsten.

Verarbeitungsqualität und Materialien
Der DDS Lite teilt sich die Kernarchitektur – einschließlich Dämpfergehäuse, Innenleben und Befestigungsteile – mit der DDS-Pro-Einheit von K-Tech. Das 35-mm-RCU-Gehäuse und die 12-mm-Kolbenstange werden aus hochwertigem Aluminium beziehungsweise gehärtetem Stahl gefertigt, und die Augenlager oben und unten sind auf enge Maßtoleranzen gefertigt. Das Ergebnis ist ein Dämpfer, der sich in der hundertsten Runde genauso präzise anfühlt wie in der ersten.
Leistung auf Straße und Rennstrecke
Die DDS-Plattform (Dual Damping System) ist dasselbe Fundament, das K-Tech auch an professionelle Rennteams liefert. Am kompakten, hochdrehenden Fahrwerk der ZX-4RR sorgt der DDS Lite für spürbar mehr Stabilität in Schräglage und besseres Feedback vom Reifenrand. Die werkseitig empfohlenen Einstellungen – 12 Klicks Druckstufe, 12 Klicks Zugstufe und 12 mm Vorspannung – bieten eine hervorragende Ausgangsbasis, von der aus Fahrer den vollen 32-Klick-Bereich in beide Richtungen ausloten können. Der Federweg von 55 mm und die Betriebskraft von 95 N sind speziell auf das Übersetzungsverhältnis der Hinterradaufhängung der ZX-4RR abgestimmt.
