Variable Ventilsteuerzeiten, 190 PS, semiaktives WP-Fahrwerk und ein vollständiges Trägheitssensor-Elektronikpaket. Die EVO ist die Spitze der Super-Duke-Reihe, und es bleibt nichts für eine Version darüber zurück, was für den Hersteller ungewöhnlich ist.
Semiaktiv auf der Rennstrecke
Die APEX-Einheiten passen die Dämpfung kontinuierlich anhand der Trägheitsplattform an, was auf der Strecke bedeutet, dass sie zwischen Bremszone und Scheitelpunkt verändert wird statt einmalig auf einen Durchschnittswert eingestellt zu sein. Genau dort rechtfertigt sich die Technik ihren Preis.
Ein kombiniertes Bauteil
Der Schnellgasgriff entfernt den serienmäßigen Schalterblock, und die Streckenvorbereitung entfernt die Straßenbedienelemente. Diese Einheit löst beides gleichzeitig, was aufgeräumter ist, als ein komplettes Cluster zu montieren und mit toten Positionen zu leben.
Fahrwerksmodi bleiben links
Dämpfungseinstellungen, Fahrmodi und Traktionsstufe werden weiterhin über das andere Cluster erreicht und bleiben vollständig unberührt. Nur die Gasgriffseite ändert sich, und die Elektronik verhält sich exakt wie zuvor.
Reversibel
Vorverkabelt für den Stecker von KTM und am Lenker statt am Gasgriff geklemmt. Die Rückrüstung der Serieneinheit versetzt das Motorrad ohne Spur in der Verkabelung in den Werkszustand zurück, was bei einem so neuen Modell zählt.
Abdichtung nach Militärstandard
Kontakte, die oberhalb automobiler Standards ausgelegt sind, in einem gefrästen Block. Ein nacktes Motorrad bietet seinen Schaltereinheiten keinen Schutz, und auf einem Rennstreckenmotorrad richtet der Hochdruckreiniger mehr Schaden an als das Wetter je könnte.
Titanfarben
Eine eloxierte Oberfläche, in das Material eingebracht statt nur aufgetragen. Vor dem orangen Rahmen und der dunklen Verkleidung der EVO kennzeichnet sie das Bauteil, ohne mit irgendetwas zu konkurrieren.
