Was das Kit belegt
Eine Schnellgasgriff-Baugruppe nimmt meist den Platz ein, den der originale rechte Block genutzt hat. Die Funktionen verschwinden nicht; sie brauchen einen Platz, und dieses Bauteil bietet ihn.
Zusätzlich, kein Ersatz
Er wird neben der neuen Hardware montiert, nicht an deren Stelle. Das ist die am häufigsten falsch verstandene Zeile in der Beschreibung, und es lohnt sich, das vor Ankunft des Pakets zu klären.
Ein Drittel weniger Drehung
Schnellgasgriff-Kits verkürzen den Handgelenkweg bis zur Vollgasstellung typischerweise um etwa diesen Wert. Bei Stummellenkern in voller Schräglage geht dem Arm der Weg aus, bevor der Gasgriff am Ende ist, und das beseitigt diese Grenze.
Nur Titanfarben
Eine eloxierte Oberfläche, während des Umbaus gewählt, um zur begleitenden Gasgriff-Hardware zu passen und nicht zur Verkleidung dahinter. Es ist ein funktionales Bauteil, keine Stilentscheidung.
Elemente nach Militärspezifikation
Deutlich über die Straßenanforderung hinaus abgedichtet. Eine V4 mit Schnellgasgriff ist meist ein Motorrad, das Rennstrecken sieht, und Rennstrecken bedeuten heißes Hochdruckwaschen nach jeder Session.
Vorverkabelt
Der Kabelstrang endet im eigenen Stecker von Ducati, sodass nichts gespleißt wird. Der Umbau lässt sich genauso sauber rückgängig machen, wie er angebracht wurde, wenn das Motorrad in den Serienzustand zurückkehrt.
Siebzig Grad Kurbelzapfenversatz
Die Zündabstände der Stradale sind so gesetzt, dass die Zylinder paarweise pulsieren. Deshalb klingt eine Vierzylinder-Panigale wie eine Ducati, und das kostet an Leistung nichts.
Ein großes TFT-Display
Ducati hat ein vollfarbiges TFT-Display mit Streckenlayout eingebaut, das Gang, Rundenzeit und alle Fahrhilfen zeigt. Es setzte den Standard, den der Rest der Klasse erst Jahre später erreichte.
Fünfzehnhundert Speciale
Ducati hat die V4 zusammen mit einer nummerierten Speciale mit Titan-Auspuffanlage und durchgehend Carbon eingeführt. Sie war ausverkauft, bevor die Auslieferungen begannen, was dem Unternehmen zeigte, was es da gebaut hatte.
