Was ein Schnellgasgriff kostet
Ein Schnellgasgriff-Kit verkürzt den Weg von geschlossen bis voll offen, und dabei verdrängt er in der Regel den originalen rechten Schalterblock. Die dort untergebrachten Funktionen verschwinden nicht, sie brauchen eine Montagemöglichkeit – und genau das bietet dieses Bauteil.
Kein Ersatz
Dies ist eine Zusatzeinheit und kein Austauschteil. Sie wird neben dem montiert, was das Gasgriff-Kit übrig gelassen hat, und stellt die Bedienelemente wieder her, die der Umbau vom Lenker verdrängt hat.
Warum Fahrer Schnellgasgriffe montieren
Auf der Rennstrecke geht dem Handgelenk der Weg aus, bevor der Gasgriff am Ende ist, besonders bei einem Motorrad mit Stummellenker und voller Schräglage. Die verkürzte Drehung spart bei jedem Kurvenausgang eine Handbewegung.
Ein V4, der es belohnt
Der 999,6-cm³-Motor reagiert unmittelbar, sobald sich die Drosselklappen öffnen, und genau deshalb lohnt sich die kürzere Betätigung. Deshalb wurde auch die Gemischabstimmung in den ersten fünfzehn Grad so sorgfältig kalibriert.
Nur Titanfarben
Dieses Bauteil kommt in einer einzigen Oberfläche, eloxiert in das Aluminium. Es ist ein funktionales Bauteil und kein Stylingteil, und die Farbe passt zu den Schnellgasgriff-Kits, neben denen es normalerweise montiert wird.
Elemente nach Militärspezifikation
Die Schalter im Inneren sind weit über das hinaus abgedichtet, was ein Straßenmotorrad benötigt. Bei einem Motorrad, das heiß gewaschen und über Nacht im Fahrerlager abgestellt wird, ist dieser Spielraum der Grund, warum es weiter funktioniert.
Aus dem Vollen geschnitten
Gefräst aus einem Block Ergal 7075 statt gegossen. Die Befestigung ist steif genug, dass sich der Block nicht bewegt, wenn ein Bedienelement mit Handschuh kräftig gedrückt wird.
Der Original-Stecker
Vorverkabelt für den Stecker von Aprilia, sodass die zusätzlichen Funktionen ohne jedes Spleißen funktionieren. Der Umbau bleibt reversibel, was zählt, wenn das Motorrad irgendwann wieder in den Serienzustand zurückversetzt wird.
