Outgrowing the Class
At 798 cc the F3 sits outside supersport homologation, which MV appears to have decided was less important than the motorcycle being pleasant to ride. The extra capacity gives it midrange the 675 never had without costing it the chassis behaviour that defines the model.
Euro 5 and a Reworking
The 2021 revision brought a new exhaust system, revised electronics and a redesigned tail unit. It arrived just as the supersport category was disappearing, which is a familiar pattern for MV Agusta.
Lettering as Part of the Shape
The logo is machined during manufacture and anodised with the body. It is the same depth as the rest of the component and it will look identical in a decade, which applied badges on this part of a motorcycle do not.
A Shorter Cam on a Bigger Triple
More midrange means the throttle is opened from lower revs more often, and reducing the rotation required makes that a smaller movement of the wrist. On a bike ridden hard on a road the difference accumulates over an afternoon.
Cables Retained
Mechanical conversion using the motorcycle's own cables. Nothing electrical is disturbed and the standard housing refits at any point without trace.
The Unmarked Version
Available separately for owners who would rather the cockpit carried only MV's name. Both are the same component otherwise, and the decision costs nothing either way.
Anodised After Machining
The body is cut first and anodised afterwards, so the logo and the surrounding surface receive the same treatment at the same time. That is why the lettering ages with the component rather than standing out as it wears.
