Ein Bauteil übernimmt die Klemmfunktion
Statt auf die Serienklemme aufzusetzen, ist dieser Schalter selbst die Klemme, mit eigenen Befestigungspunkten direkt am Bremsflüssigkeitsbehälter. Das reduziert die Montage auf den Austausch eines Teils gegen ein anderes, ohne eine zusätzliche Halterung dazwischen.
Das Zwei-Lochbild-System erklärt
Da Bremsflüssigkeitsbehälter dieser Plattform in einem von zwei Lochbildern gefertigt werden, bringt Jetprime für jede Anordnung eine eigene Schalterversion statt eines Kompromissteils. Der JP PLD 066 ist dabei die Version für das erste der beiden Lochbilder.
Speziell für die Technik der SP
Die Hypermotard V2 890 SP nutzt dieselbe Schalteraufnahme wie der Rest der Baureihe, sodass dieses Bauteil ohne Adapter über die bestehende Verkabelung angeschlossen wird. Originalschalter und Klemme werden gemeinsam entfernt, dieses Bauteil ersetzt beide an derselben Stelle.
Eine kurze Prüfung vor der Montage
Ein Blick darauf, wie die beiden Montagelöcher am Bremsflüssigkeitsbehälter der SP angeordnet sind, verhindert die Bestellung eines nicht passenden Teils, da die beiden Jetprime-Versionen nicht austauschbar sind. Diese Prüfung dauert kaum eine Minute.
Weiterhin ein vollwertiger Straßenschalter
Anders als die rennorientierten Schalter derselben Serie behält dieser alle Funktionen, auf die eine straßenzugelassene SP im Alltag angewiesen ist, von Blinkern bis zur Hupe, und passt damit zu Fahrern, die ihr Motorrad weiter im Straßenverkehr nutzen.
