Vierundvierzig Motorräder
Eines für jede Startnummer von Lewis Hamilton, in Mattschwarz mit sparsamen Golddetails, geschmiedeten Rädern und einer Titan-Auspuffanlage. Es ist die seltenste von MV produzierte F4 und eines der begehrtesten Motorräder der letzten zwei Jahrzehnte.
Eine echte Zusammenarbeit
Hamilton trug zur Spezifikation und zur Verarbeitung bei, statt nur eine Unterschrift für ein Grafikpaket zu leihen, und die Zurückhaltung des Ergebnisses wird in der Regel darauf zurückgeführt. MVs Sondereditionen sind üblicherweise nicht so zurückhaltend.
Jede Änderung abgewogen
Bei einem Motorrad mit vierundvierzig Exemplaren ist die erste Frage zu jedem Bauteil, ob sich das Original wieder einbauen lässt. Dieses Teil nutzt MVs eigenen Stecker und hinterlässt keine Spuren, was die einzige Grundlage ist, auf der es auf einem solchen Motorrad hingehört.
Die, die gefahren werden
Nicht alle LH44 stehen in Wohnzimmern. Die genutzten treffen auf dasselbe Problem wie jede F4 dieser Zeit: ein Formgehäuse, dessen zwei geclipste Hälften Spiel entwickeln und dessen Tasten ihre Präzision verlieren.
Universelle Klemmgeometrie
Die Platte nimmt beide Hauptbremszylinder-Schraubbilder auf. Angesichts der Spezifikation dieses Motorrads ist ein Nachrüst-Radialzylinder ein plausibler Einbau, und der Schalter muss das nicht einschränken.
Drei Oberflächen
Schwarz, Rot und Titanfarben. Gegen eine mattschwarze Verkleidung mit Goldakzenten ist Schwarz die Option, die vollständig verschwindet, was bei einem so sorgfältig komponierten Motorrad fast sicher die richtige Entscheidung ist.
Abgedichtete Konstruktion
Abgedichtete Schalterelemente in einem aus einem Block gefrästen Gehäuse. Selbst ein sparsam genutztes Motorrad trifft auf Wetter und Reinigung, und das Fehlen einer Formfuge hält beides von den Kontakten fern.
