Das Ausgerichtete Lochbild
Eines von zwei Varianten, bestimmt durch die Bremszylinder-Klemmung. Die Prüfung dauert eine halbe Minute und verhindert den häufigsten Bestellfehler in dieser gesamten Kategorie.
Es Gibt Kein Kleineres Teil
Ducati verkauft nur den kompletten Block. Genau diese Tatsache – und kein Argument über Materialien – macht eine gefräste Alternative überhaupt erst interessant.
Eine Elektrochemische Oberfläche
Die Farbe wird in die obersten Mikrometer des Aluminiums umgewandelt. Nichts liegt über dem Metall, also kann nichts abplatzen, abgekratzt werden oder ausbleichen.
Wie Kontakte Enden
Oxidation statt mechanischer Verschleiß. Ein feuchter Kontakt baut über eine Saison Widerstand auf, und der Schalter wird unzuverlässig, lange bevor tatsächlich etwas bricht.
Zwanzig Minuten und Reversibel
Nichts durchtrennt, nichts verlötet. Der Serienblock lässt sich in derselben Zeit wieder montieren, in der er entfernt wurde, und hinterlässt den Kabelbaum genau so, wie Ducati ihn verbaut hat.
Gleichbleibend Von Anfang Bis Ende
Ein Bearbeitungszentrum liefert über eine ganze Serie identische Teile. Spritzgusswerkzeuge tun das nicht, und der Unterschied zeigt sich irgendwann als Block, der nicht mehr sauber auf der Klemmung sitzt.
Öhlins und Schaltautomat
Voll einstellbare Gabel und Federbein plus die bidirektionale Einheit serienmäßig. Bei einem für lange, schnelle Straßen gebauten Motorrad ist diese Kombination das ganze Argument für die Ausstattungsvariante.
Drehmoment Statt Spitzenleistung
Hundertzehn PS, deren Schub so niedertourig anliegt, dass der Motor nie nach hohen Drehzahlen verlangt. Er ist auf die Straße abgestimmt und steht unverblümt dazu.
Die Zweite Hälfte Eines Fahrerlebens
Ducati richtete die SuperSport an Fahrer, die bereits Superbikes besessen hatten und keine Lust mehr auf schmerzende Handgelenke und Hitze hatten. Es ist ein kleiner, aber ungewöhnlich treuer Markt.
