Ausgerichtete Montage
Beide Schrauben auf einer Achse, passend zu einer der beiden Klemmvarianten. Die versetzte Version deckt die andere ab, und ein Katalogbild verrät den Unterschied nicht.
Programme, Keine Werkzeuge
Eine Fräsdatei lässt sich für ein Modell nahezu kostenfrei anpassen. Ein Spritzgusswerkzeug nicht, und deshalb ist geformte Schaltertechnik generisch und gefräste nicht.
Staub Bleibt, Wasser Nicht
Wasser trocknet aus einer Fuge. Bei Fahrt aufgewirbelter Straßenschmutz tut das nicht; er legt sich auf einen Kontakt und bleibt dort, solange das Bauteil existiert.
Der Lenker Trifft Zuerst
Wenn ein nacktes Motorrad umfällt, gibt es nichts, das den Aufprall vor dem Lenker abfängt. Ein gefrästes Gehäuse bekommt eine Schramme, wo eine geformte Schale an ihrer Clip-Linie bricht.
Ein Kleiner Nachteil
Gefrästes Aluminium ist etwas schwerer als der Kunststoff, den es ersetzt. Es ist eine vernachlässigbare Menge, und es ist ehrlicher, das zu erwähnen, als es zu verschweigen.
Kontakte Gekapselt
Im Gehäuse versiegelt statt unter einem Deckel. Ohne jede Verkleidung über dem Lenker ist dieses Gehäuse die gesamte Verteidigung, die die Elektrik hat.
Ein Superbike Mit Lenkstange
Ducati zog den Lenker hoch, entfernte die Verkleidung und ließ den Motor bei 208 PS. Nichts daran ist vernünftig, und genau das ist der Reiz.

Ein durchgehender Lenker gibt deutlich mehr Hebelwirkung als Stummellenker, weshalb eine Streetfighter leichter einlenkt als die Panigale, von der sie abstammt, obwohl das Gewicht höher liegt.
