Öhlins, jetzt halbaktiv
Die Factory dieser Baureihe trug elektronisch gesteuertes Öhlins-Fahrwerk, das die Dämpfung anhand der Inertialplattform anpasste. Bei einer Superbike verschiebt sich die Last zwischen den Rädern schneller, als es jede feste Einstellung ausgleichen könnte.
Winglets an einem Straßenmotorrad
Aprilia hat aerodynamische Anbauteile an die Verkleidung geschraubt, bevor die meisten Mitbewerber überhaupt daran gedacht hatten. Sie stammen aus einem MotoGP-Programm, das sie schon mehrere Saisons einsetzte, und sie wirken bei Rennstreckengeschwindigkeit.
Von links aus angepasst
Fahrwerksmodus, Motorkennfeld und Traktionsstufe liegen alle in Menüs, die über diesen Block erreicht werden. Ein Factory-Besitzer ändert sie zwischen den Sessions und oft auch innerhalb einer Session, daher werden diese Tasten stärker genutzt als jedes andere Bedienelement.
Die spätere Anordnung
Diese Artikelnummer passt nur auf die Factory 2019 und 2020. Aprilia hat den linken Block mit dem Modellupdate geändert, und die früheren Bikes brauchen die Version ohne den Zusatz RF.
Was serienmäßig bleibt
Halbaktives Fahrwerk, geschmiedete Räder, Winglets und Brembo-Sättel. Die Schalter sind so geblieben, wie sie das Formwerkzeug verlassen haben, und im Vergleich zu allem anderen am Motorrad lässt sich das vom Sattel aus kaum übersehen.
Schwarz oder titanfarben
Beide in die Oberfläche umgewandelt. Titanfarben sitzt der goldenen Eloxierung der Factory am nächsten, ohne sie nachbilden zu wollen, was meist besser wirkt als eine ungefähre Angleichung.
Abgedichtet und angesteckt
Elemente im Block eingeschlossen, Kabelbaum endet an Aprilias eigenem Stecker. Der Austausch ist rein mechanisch und hinterlässt keine Spur in der Diagnose.
Ein Limiter für die Boxengasse
Aprilia hat einer straßenzugelassenen Superbike einen echten Boxengassen-Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzer verbaut und ihm eine Taste am Lenker gegeben. Das ist eine klare Aussage darüber, für wen die Factory gedacht war, und es ist ein weiterer Kontakt, der an einem Rennstreckenwochenende stark beansprucht und dann monatelang ignoriert wird.
