Die Überarbeitung von 2025
Ducati überarbeitete die V4 erneut mit einem neuen Rahmen, einer anderen Schwinge und überarbeiteter Aerodynamik. Die Motorbauweise wurde übernommen, und fast alles drumherum hat sich geändert.
Das Cockpit bleibt frei
Das Widerstandsnetzwerk beantwortet den Prüfstrom des Steuergeräts, sodass kein Fehler gespeichert wird und beim nächsten Zündzyklus keine Leuchte erscheint.
Ebenso Reparatur wie Stilllegung
Bei einer Maschine, die ihr erstes Jahrzehnt hinter sich hat, bleibt dem Membranventilgehäuse nur noch eine begrenzte Lebensdauer, und so erspart die Aluminiumhälfte eine Arbeit, die ohnehin bevorstand.
Ein Verschleißteil weniger
Die Membranventileinheit gehört zu den wenigen echten Verschleißteilen, die an einem Zylinderkopf verschraubt sind, und Aluminium ist gegenüber Wärmezyklen unempfindlich.
Aluminium statt Spritzguss
In der Verschlussplatte gibt es nichts, was altern könnte, und nichts zu kontrollieren. Es ist dasselbe Argument wie bei jedem anderen Verschleißteil, das durch ein massives Teil ersetzt wird.
Anzugsmoment im Zylinderkopf
Der Wert ist niedrig und aus gutem Grund so vorgegeben. Es ist die eine Zahl, die man vor dem Start nachschlagen sollte.
Eine Reparatur unter anderem Namen
Bei jeder Ducati, die ihr erstes Jahrzehnt hinter sich hat, bleibt dem Membranventilgehäuse nur noch eine begrenzte Lebensdauer. Wer Aluminium montiert, erledigt eine Arbeit, die ohnehin anstand, statt bloß eine Abgaseinrichtung zu entfernen.
Kalter Motor, richtiges Anzugsmoment
Aluminiumgewinde in einem warmen Zylinderkopf reißen leichter aus, als die meisten erwarten, und der vorgegebene Wert für die Befestigungsschrauben am Zylinderkopf ist niedrig. Abzuwarten, bis der Motor abgekühlt ist, und den Wert einmal nachzuschlagen, macht den ganzen Unterschied zwischen einem kurzen Abend und einer Gewindereparatur.
Die Reihenfolge, die funktioniert
Zuerst die elektrische Hälfte, solange die Airbox draußen und der Zugang am besten ist, dann die Verschlussplatten an den Zylinderköpfen, dann der Anschluss an der Ansaugseite, dann der Zusammenbau. Wer es andersherum macht, muss an einer montierten Verschlussplatte vorbei zu einem Stecker greifen, was möglich, aber unnötig ist.
