The JP ES 013 closes the R1M's sidestand circuit so the bike runs with the stand removed.

Built for Circuits
Carbon bodywork, electronically managed Öhlins and a data logger. Yamaha built the R1M in limited numbers for people who intended to race it rather than admire it.
The Stand Goes Early
On a machine bought for track use the stand is often removed before the first outing. Its switch leaves with it and the circuit reads permanently open.
Closing the Loop
This unit supplies the state the ECU expects. The engine starts and runs and the dashboard reports nothing about a component that is no longer there.
Telemetry as Standard
The R1M logs suspension and rider data and sends it to a phone. It is the closest thing to a factory data package on a road-registered motorcycle.
A Magnesium Subframe
Yamaha used it to take weight out at the back of the bike. Details like that explain why the R1M costs what it does and who it was built for.
Ten Model Years
The fitment runs from 2015 to 2024, the full production of the current shape. The sidestand wiring is unchanged across it.
Nothing Cut
Yamaha's own connector. On a limited-production motorcycle an untouched loom is worth real money when it eventually changes hands.
The First Job
Nothing else can be tested until the engine stays running without the stand. It is the modification that makes the rest of the preparation possible.
Not a Road Part
On a bike that still carries a stand, the interlock does a real job. This eliminator is for machines that no longer have one.
Sold in Numbered Batches
Yamaha builds the R1M in limited quantities each year and allocates them through a registration process rather than through dealers. Owners tend to know exactly what they have, and they tend to keep the original parts in a box.
