Die Dorsoduro ist ein Supermoto mit den Verriegelungen eines Straßenmotorrads, und die beiden vertragen sich nicht immer. Warum ein Supermoto den Ständer zuerst verliert
An einem Straßenmotorrad ist der Seitenständer selbstverständliches Inventar. An einem Supermoto im Gelände ist er ein Hebel, der auf die nächste Spurrille wartet, und die meisten bauen ihn vor der ersten ernsthaften Ausfahrt ab. Danach ist es an jeder Aprilia dieser Jahre gleich: Das Steuergerät liest einen offenen Stromkreis, wo der Schalter saß, und verweigert den Start. Dieser Eliminator schließt den Kreis dauerhaft.
Drei Hubräume, ein Stromkreis
Aprilia baute die Dorsoduro als 750, dann als 900, dann als 1200, mit verschiedenen Motoren und verschiedener Elektronik. Der Seitenständerkreis ist das Einzige, was identisch blieb — weshalb dasselbe Teil an eine 750 von 2008 und an eine 1200 von 2018 passt.
Montage
Der Schalter sitzt am Rahmen am Ständerlager, an einer kurzen Leitung. Abstecken, Ständer und Schalter zusammen entfernen, Eliminator kabelbaumseitig aufstecken und aus dem Spritzwasser binden. Zehn Minuten bei aufgebocktem Motorrad, und ebenso schnell wieder rückgängig, wenn die Dorsoduro zurück in den Straßendienst geht.

Keine. Die Seitenständer-Verriegelung ist eine typgenehmigte Sicherheitsfunktion; sie auszuhebeln führt das Motorrad aus seiner Genehmigung. Ausschließlich für geschlossene Strecken und den Rennsport.
