Ausgerichtet, nicht versetzt
Die beiden Befestigungsbohrungen liegen auf einer Achse. Dieses Lochbild gehört zu einer der Bremspumpenschellen, die an diesen Motorrädern verbaut sind, und nachzusehen, welche montiert ist, kostet weniger Zeit als eine Rücksendung.
Sechs Fahrmodi
Die aktuelle RSV4 hat drei Straßen- und drei Rennstreckenmodi, jeder mit eigenen Einstellungen für Traktionskontrolle, Wheelie-Kontrolle, Motorbremsregelung und Federung. All das zu verwalten, ist heute die eigentliche Aufgabe der Bedienelemente am Lenker.
Ein Quickshifter in beide Richtungen
Hoch- und Runterschalten ohne Kupplung, abgestimmt auf die Motorbremsregelung, damit sich beide nicht in die Quere kommen. Aprilia hatte eine funktionierende Version davon, lange bevor das anderswo zur Serienausstattung wurde.
Zweihundertsiebzehn PS
Aus 1099 cm³ unter Euro 5. Wichtiger noch: Durch die Vergrößerung zieht der Motor schon ab sechstausend Touren, wo die vorherige Literversion vom Fahrer verlangt hatte, die Drehzahl hoch zu halten.
Schwarz eloxiert
In die Oberfläche umgewandelt. Neben einer Verkleidung mit integrierten Winglets und ausgeprägter Formgebung ist ein ruhiges Cockpit meist die bessere Entscheidung.
Aus dem Vollen gefräst
Ein einziger Block Ergal 7075 mit abgedichteten Schaltelementen im Inneren. Es gibt keine geclipste Abdeckung, die unter den besonderen Vibrationen, die ein V4 mit engem Zylinderwinkel in die Lenkerstummel leitet, ihre Spannung verlieren könnte.
Was eine gefräste Bohrung bringt
Steifigkeit in der Befestigung und einen gleichmäßigen Schaltweg. Beides spürt ein Fahrer durch den Handschuh, lange bevor es sich irgendwo anders messen lässt.
Der Aprilia-eigene Stecker
Fertig verkabelt, daher wird nichts gespleißt, gelötet oder codiert. Der Block wird mechanisch getauscht, und die Elektronik bemerkt davon nichts.
