Warum hier ein Race-Layout
Tuono-660-Modelle erscheinen bei Trackdays in einer Zahl, die die Karosserie nicht vermuten lässt. Den blauen Taster ans untere Ende der Reihe zu verlegen, passt zu einem Fahrer, der die Bedienelemente beim Bremsen wiederholt betätigt.
Fünfundneunzig PS, breiter Lenker
Aprilia stimmte den Zweizylinder der RS 660 Richtung Mitteldrehzahl ab, erhöhte den Lenker und entfernte die Verkleidung. Die Tuono gibt auf echter Straße kaum etwas preis und lässt sich deutlich entspannter leben.
Tempomat und Fahrmodi
Beide werden über den linken Block gesteuert, ebenso Traktion und Motorbremse. Bei einem Naked Bike der Mittelklasse war das 2021 eine bemerkenswerte Ausstattung, und sie beansprucht diese Kontakte entsprechend.
Drei eloxierte Farben
Schwarz, Blau und Titanfarben, in das Metall eingebracht. Bei einem Naked Bike ist das Cockpit auch von außen sichtbar, nicht nur vom Sattel aus, was Blau zu einer etwas gewagteren Wahl macht, als es klingt.
Nichts hält das Wetter ab
Eine symbolische Fliegenscheibe und keine Verkleidung. Regen erreicht den Block bei Fahrtgeschwindigkeit und bleibt dort – genau der Zustand, gegen den ein einteilig gefrästes Gehäuse gebaut ist.
Abgedichtete Elemente
Schalter nach Militärstandard, eingeschlossen im Gehäuse. Das Original aus Kunststoff hat eine durchgehende Nahtstelle, und über genau diese findet die Feuchtigkeit eines Winters einen Kontakt.
Gefräst für das Gefühl
Klar definierte Kanten und ein ehrlicher Schaltweg. Durch den Handschuh ist das die einzige Information, die ein Fahrer darüber erhält, ob eine Eingabe registriert wurde, und eine aufgedruckte Beschriftung hat das noch nie geliefert.
Der eigene Stecker von Aprilia
Trotz der geänderten Anordnung vorverkabelt. Zwei Schrauben und ein Stecker, und nirgends muss vermerkt werden, dass sich etwas verschoben hat.
Ein Rahmen ohne Heckteil
Aprilia verschraubt die Schwinge direkt mit dem Motor und lässt den Rahmenheckteil ganz entfallen, weshalb das Motorrad so leicht ist, wie es ist. Das bedeutet auch, dass das Fahrwerk das Werk praktisch fertig verlässt, sodass sich die Aufmerksamkeit der Besitzer auf die Teile richtet, die sich noch ändern lassen.
