Austausch unter Besitzern
Eine Karte von einer identischen Maschine ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt, aber ein schlechter Endpunkt. Motoren unterscheiden sich, Sensoren unterscheiden sich, und Auspuffanlagen sind nie wirklich gleich.
Serienmäßige Kraftstoffhardware
Pumpe, Verteilerleiste, Regler und Einspritzdüsen bleiben alle die des Werks. Das Steuergerät ändert, wie lange sie öffnen, und nichts an dem, was sie sind.
Wenn sich etwas falsch anfühlt
Die leere Karte zurückschreiben und dieselbe Strecke fahren. Zehn Minuten klären, ob das Steuergerät verantwortlich ist – ein diagnostischer Luxus, den ein Reflash nicht bietet.

Jedes Zündereignis kommt über das Fahrwerk an. Ein Einzylinder ist der aufschlussreichste Motor zum Kartieren und der am wenigsten nachsichtige bei einer übereilten Arbeit.
