Die gedrosselte Adventure
Gleiches Fahrwerk und die gleichen niedrigen Tanks, nur die Leistung ist für den A2-Führerschein gedrosselt. An der Kraftstoff-Hardware ändert sich nichts.
Die ehrliche Zusammenfassung
Ein programmierbares Steuergerät für Besitzer, die den Motor verändert haben und das Gemisch entsprechend anpassen wollen. Es belohnt Aufwand und tut ohne diesen Aufwand gar nichts.
Reglement der Klassen
Manche Meisterschaften schränken ein, was den Motor steuern darf. Ein zusätzliches Steuergerät ist in vielen erlaubt und in einigen verboten, und allein das Reglement entscheidet.
Die erste Sitzung
Das Gerät montieren, das Kennfeld leer lassen, fahren. Dann ein paar Durchgänge aufzeichnen, prüfen, wo das Gemisch nicht stimmt, und mit dem Bereich beginnen, der am meisten gestört hat.
Der falsche Kauf
Ein serienmäßiges Motorrad, keine Breitband-Lambdasonde und keine Absicht, sich mit der Software zu beschäftigen. Dieser Besitzer sollte das vorkonfigurierte Modul kaufen und wird damit glücklicher.
Das Original-Steuergerät bleibt unangetastet
Kein Parameter wird geschrieben, keine Anpassung gelöscht, kein Fehlerspeicher gestört. Jede spätere Diagnose am Motorrad liest die Elektronik des Werks.
Vibration
Elektronik am Motorrad versagt eher durch Vibration als durch Feuchtigkeit. Ein Gehäuse, das flach an einer Fläche befestigt ist, hält länger als eines, das an seinem eigenen Kabelbaum hängt.
Entfernung des Katalysators
Der Ausbau des Katalysators verändert den Gegendruck und entfernt eine Komponente, mit der das Werks-Kennfeld gerechnet hat. Das ist einer der stärksten Gründe, ein programmierbares Steuergerät zu fahren.
Wie eine Sitzung tatsächlich aussieht
Eine ruhige Straße oder ein Prüfstand, ein angeschlossener Laptop, ein aufgezeichneter Breitband-Messwert, ein angepasster Bereich im Kennfeld, dann die gleiche Fahrt wiederholt, um zu sehen, ob sich der Wert verändert hat. Drei oder vier solcher Durchgänge füllen einen Abend.
