Öhlins ab Werk
Die S brachte der ersten Panigale elektronisches Fahrwerk, ohne den Motor zu verändern – ihre Anforderungen an die Kraftstoffversorgung sind daher identisch mit dem Basismodell.
Speichern und neu laden
Kennfelder sind Dateien. Sie lassen sich sichern, an andere senden, nach einem Fehler wiederherstellen und nebeneinander vergleichen – das ist der praktische Vorteil von Software gegenüber einer festen Kurve.
Das Ergebnis ablesen
Ein Breitband-Display oder eine protokollierte Datei zeigt, was das Gemisch tatsächlich getan hat. Ohne das ist Abstimmen nur Zahlen ändern und hoffen.
Das Einspritzsignal
Dort passiert alles. Die Einheit verlängert oder verkürzt einen Impuls, den das Serien-Steuergerät bereits ausgegeben hat – das ist die am wenigsten invasive Art, zu ändern, was der Motor bekommt.
Für ein Kennfeld bezahlen
Eine Prüfstand-Sitzung mit jemandem, der den Motor kennt, kostet einen Bruchteil des Motorrads und liefert in Stunden, was ein Winter voller Abende vielleicht nicht schafft.
