Der große Supermoto
Ein 1197-cm³-V-Motor in einem Motard-Fahrwerk war immer eine Herausforderung, und Aprilia nutzte die Elektronik, um ihn fahrbar zu machen, statt ihn schneller zu machen.
Ein Kennfeld, keine Kurve
Die Software zeigt das Kraftstoff-Kennfeld als Raster: Drehzahl auf einer Achse, Last auf der anderen, und ein Korrekturwert in jedem Feld. Nichts ist vorgegeben. Der Besitzer entscheidet, was in jedes Feld kommt.
Vollständige Steuerung des Kennfelds
Dieser Begriff bedeutet jedes Feld, nicht eine globale Korrektur. Das Gerät kann einen kleinen Bereich anfetten und einen anderen abmagern, und genau das unterscheidet ein Kennfeld von einem einzelnen Regler.
Zwischen Kabelbaum und Einspritzventilen
Elektrisch sitzt es dort, wo das vorkonfigurierte Modul sitzt, und erfüllt dieselbe physische Aufgabe. Der Unterschied liegt vollständig darin, wer die Werte festlegt und wie viele es davon gibt.
Warum überhaupt programmierbar
Weil kein modifiziertes Motorrad dem anderen gleicht. Ein anderer Schalldämpfer, ein anderer Filter und ein anderes Klima ergeben einen anderen Bedarf, und nur ein Kennfeld kann allen drei folgen.
Das leere Kennfeld
Jedes Feld auf null, das Motorrad läuft mit seiner Werksabstimmung, und nichts wird geändert, bis der Besitzer anders entscheidet. Es ist der sicherste Ausgangszustand, den ein Tuning-Produkt bieten kann.
Den Baujahreszeitraum lesen
Die Einspritzhardware ändert sich häufiger als die Motoren. Die Jahre im Angebot sind Teil des Produkts, weil der Kabelbaum für eine bestimmte Anordnung zugeschnitten ist.
Laststellen und Stützpunkte
Die Achsen des Kennfelds sind an festen, für den Motor gewählten Punkten unterteilt. Zu wissen, wo diese Stützpunkte liegen, sagt dem Abstimmer, welche Felder eine bestimmte Geschwindigkeit tatsächlich nutzt.
Der Unterschied in einem Satz
Das vorkonfigurierte Modul beantwortet die Frage für einen; dieses stellt die Werkzeuge bereit und erwartet, dass man sie selbst beantwortet. Alles andere an den beiden Geräten – die Verkabelung, die Reversibilität, die unberührte Original-Elektronik – ist identisch.
