Das letzte Zweizylinder-Superbike
Ducati wechselte 2018 zum V4, was die 1299 zur letzten Weiterentwicklung der Zweizylinder-Panigale macht und sie gerade deshalb zunehmend begehrt bei Sammlern.
Originale Schraubenpositionen
Ducatis eigene Schraubenabstände und Anzugswerte. Beim Austausch wird nichts gebohrt und kein Gewinde im Kopf angeschnitten oder angetastet.
Nichts verbraucht
Keine Dichtung wird zerstört und keine Schraube überdehnt. Alles Entfernte passt genau so wieder zurück, wie es abgenommen wurde, wann immer nötig.
Aluminium gegen Aluminium
Die Platte dichtet auf einem O-Ring statt Metall auf Metall, was wiederholten Ausbau ohne Beschädigung der Kopffläche erlaubt. Das ist die richtige Lösung.
Zugang und Reihenfolge
Der Tank kommt ab und häufig auch der Luftfilterkasten, weshalb diese Arbeit in dieselbe Sitzung gehört wie die elektrische Hälfte oder jede andere Arbeit in diesem Bereich.
Wo der Luftfilterkasten sitzt
Beim V4 sitzt er unter dem Tank und über dem Motor, was den Zugang zu allem darunter zu einer Frage der Geduld statt der Schwierigkeit macht.
Der Schlauchanschluss am Luftfilterkasten
Der Ausbau des Gehäuses lässt das Ansaugende des Schlauchs offen, und ihn zu verschließen ist nicht optional. Ungefilterte Luft in einem Motor ist ein deutlich schlechteres Ergebnis, als es das Emissionssystem je war, und es ist das Einzige, das in einer sonst sorgfältigen Arbeit am häufigsten übersehen wird.
Der Schlauchweg zum Luftfilterkasten
Er verläuft vom Kopf nach oben und vorn in den Luftfilterkasten, meist an zwei oder drei Stellen geklippt. Ihn vor dem Lösen zu verfolgen zeigt genau, wo das Ansaugende endet – die Verschraubung, die geschlossen werden muss, sobald das Gehäuse weg ist.
