Eine verkleidete Trident
Triumph gab dem Roadster eine Halbverkleidung, eine höhere Scheibe und mehr Federweg und schuf damit eines der Motorräder mit dem besseren Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, die es überhaupt zu kaufen gibt.

Aus dem 660er-Dreizylinder, genug, um auf der Straße wirklich schnell zu sein, und bescheiden genug, um im Rahmen einer A2-Drosselung zu bleiben.
Nichts wartet im Speicher
Weil der Stromkreis bedient und nicht unterdrückt wird, wird kein Fehlercode gespeichert, und hinterher ist kein Termin beim Händler nötig, um etwas zu löschen.
Wo Triumph das Ventil unterbringt
Meist unter dem Tank neben der Airbox, erreichbar bei abgenommener Sitzbank und abgenommenem Tank. Es ist nicht schwer zugänglich, aber auch nicht offensichtlich, solange man nicht nachsieht.
Vor dem Verkauf zurückrüsten
Das Serienventil wieder einzubauen erspart dem nächsten Besitzer ein Gespräch, auf das er sich nie eingelassen hat, und dauert etwa zehn Minuten.
Die zweite Hälfte der Stilllegung
Die Verschlussplatte für den Zylinderkopf ist ein eigenes Teil und eine eigene Entscheidung. Sehr viele Besitzer bauen die elektrische Hälfte ein, fahren eine Saison damit und schließen die Arbeit dann ab.
Bei Rennstreckenmotorrädern ist die Antwort leicht
Ein Motorrad, das nie wieder eine öffentliche Straße sehen wird, hat keine Zulassung zu verlieren und keine Prüfung zu bestehen. Die einzige verbleibende Frage ist, ob die Arbeit sauber ausgeführt ist.
Was passiert, wenn nichts eingebaut wird
Das Cockpit zeigt ab dem nächsten Start eine Warnung und behält sie. Sonst ändert sich nichts, das Motorrad läuft einwandfrei, und die einzige Folge ist eine Leuchte, die sich nicht löschen lässt, und ein Code, den jedes Auslesegerät findet.
Nichts zurückzusetzen
Keine Adaption, kein erneutes Anlernen der Drosselklappe und keine Serviceerinnerung. Das Motorrad verhält sich einfach wie zuvor, nur um eine Warnung ärmer.
