Das System ist Teil der Genehmigung des Motorrads, und mit seinem Ausbau ist die Maschine in jedem europäischen Markt nur noch für den Wettbewerbseinsatz bestimmt.
Zwei Hälften, getrennt verkauft
Die Lösung von Triumph hat eine elektrische und eine mechanische Seite, und der Zubehörmarkt behandelt beide getrennt. Wer beide erledigt, hat das System vollständig stillgelegt, wer nur eine erledigt, nicht.
Eine umkehrbare Entscheidung
Nichts wird gebohrt, geschnitten oder gekürzt, deshalb lässt sich das Motorrad jederzeit in den Serienzustand zurückversetzen, wenn eine Prüfung oder ein Verkauf es erfordert.
Ein Bauteil ohne Wartungsintervall
Triumph sieht nie einen Austausch des Magnetventils vor, deshalb ist eine Warnung im Display das Erste, was man davon hört. An älteren Motorrädern ist ein Ausfall des Ventils mindestens so häufig wie ein Ausbau durch den Besitzer.
Die Warnung kommt zurück
Den Code mit einem Auslesegerät zu löschen funktioniert bis zum nächsten Zündzyklus, wenn der Selbsttest erneut läuft und denselben offenen Stromkreis findet. Es gibt keinen anderen Weg, ihn gelöscht zu halten, als den Stromkreis zu bedienen.
Die einfachste Elektrikarbeit am Motorrad
Keine Polarität zu beachten, keine Konfiguration, kein Anlernen und keine Möglichkeit, den Eliminator falsch einzubauen. Entweder stellt er den erwarteten Messwert wieder her oder nicht, und er tut es immer.
Kein Universalteil
Widerstände und Stecker unterscheiden sich, und wer den falschen einbaut, bekommt einen anderen Fehler statt keinen. Eine Bestellung nach dem genauen Modelljahr verhindert das.
