Die S verkauft sich deutlich besser als die Standard-V4, weil Fahrwerk und Radar die eigentlichen Gründe sind, sich für eine Multistrada zu entscheiden.

Das Steuergerät bleibt unverändert
Es wird keine Software geschrieben, kein Adapter greift ein und kein Parameter wird verändert. Das Kit funktioniert allein über den Widerstand, den es darstellt.

Keine Mehrleistung, kein verändertes Ansprechverhalten, kein veränderter Verbrauch. Wer erwartet, dass sich das Motorrad danach anders anfühlt, hat missverstanden, was das System überhaupt getan hat.
Die elektrische Hälfte im Detail
Ein passiver Widerstand in einem vergossenen Gehäuse mit angespritztem Ducati-Originalstecker, der dem Steuergerät genau den Wert liefert, den es von einer intakten Magnetventil-Wicklung erwartet. Nichts wird mit Strom versorgt, nichts erzeugt und nichts kann sich verändern – genau das braucht ein Teil, das direkt neben einem Zylinderkopf lebt.
Was bereitliegen sollte
Ein Drehmomentschlüssel, der bei niedrigen Werten genau anzeigt, ein O-Ring als Ersatz, ein paar Kabelbinder und eine saubere Stelle für den Kraftstofftank. Diese Liste ist kurz, weil die Arbeit kurz ist; sie ist wichtig, weil das Unterbrechen der Arbeit, um eines davon zu suchen, bedeutet, dass der Tank über Nacht auf der Werkbank steht.
