Der Stromkreis
Ein elektrisch geöffnetes Ventil, das die Abgaskanäle versorgt und vom Steuergerät bei jedem Zündzyklus überwacht wird. Allein die Überwachung bereitet Schwierigkeiten.
Abziehen heißt nicht Deaktivieren
Ein leerer Stecker liest sich als unendlicher Widerstand, was das Steuergerät als Defekt und nicht als Absicht wertet.
Den Wert liefern
Der Eliminator liefert die vom Steuergerät erwartete Impedanz. Es erscheint keine Warnung, und kein Fehler wird gespeichert.
Die vernünftige Wahl
Die RR trug denselben Motor, Rahmen und dieselbe Elektronik wie die RF, dazu Sachs-Federung und einen deutlich niedrigeren Preis. Für einen Rennaufbau war sie immer der bessere Ausgangspunkt.
Weshalb sie im Rennbetrieb landen
Ein Aufbau ersetzt die Federung ohnehin, sodass es wenig Sinn ergibt, zuerst für Öhlins zu bezahlen. Genau deshalb sind die Fahrerlager voller RR.
Das Update von 2017
Zweihunderteins PS, eine Sechsachsenplattform und Kurven-ABS. Die RR erhielt all das zusammen mit der teureren Version.
Geräusch beim Ausrollen
Rückstände, die im Krümmer verbrennen, verstärkt von jeder Racing-Anlage, die je an einer solchen Maschine montiert wurde. Die Luftzufuhr ist die Ursache.
Vor dem Prüfstand
Luft, die nach der Verbrennung eintritt, verschiebt die Lambdawerte, und eine RR steht meist aus gutem Grund auf dem Prüfstand.
Die mechanische Hälfte
Der Membranblock bleibt an den Köpfen, bis auch die Abdeckung montiert wird.
Homologation
Das Entfernen der Abgasausrüstung beendet die Straßenzulassung in ganz Europa.
Kurven-ABS ab 2017
Eine Sechsachsenplattform, die den Schräglagenwinkel an Brems- und Traktionssysteme meldet, kam bei der RR zur gleichen Zeit wie bei der RF. Aprilia hat die günstigere Version der Baureihe nie als Ort genutzt, um Elektronik einzusparen, was ungewöhnlich ist und erwähnenswert bleibt.
