Ein koreanischer Einzylinder
Hyosung baute die GD250R als verkleidetes Einsteigermotorrad mit einem 249-cm³-Einzylinder. Es ist unkomplizierte Fortbewegung mit unkomplizierter Einspritzung.
Vorkonfiguriert, nicht programmierbar
Es gibt keinen Laptop, keine Software und keine Sitzung am Prüfstand. JetPrime liefert das Modul mit einer für diesen Motor ausgearbeiteten Kennlinie, und die Aufgabe des Besitzers endet beim Anschließen. Das ist der gesamte Unterschied zur programmierbaren Einheit daneben.
Ein zweiter Fahrer
Ein Beifahrer belastet den Motor anders und macht eine magere Cruise-Abstimmung deutlicher erkennbar. Besitzer, die häufig zu zweit touren, bemerken den Unterschied früher als solche, die allein fahren.
Modellspezifische Verkabelung
JetPrime liefert den Kabelbaum für das jeweilige Motorrad mit den passend angeformten Steckverbindern. Das ist der Teil des Produkts, dessen Entwicklung am meisten kostet, und der Teil, an den niemand denkt.
Fahrerassistenzsysteme bemerken es nicht
Die Traktionskontrolle liest Raddrehzahlen, keine Injektorimpulse. Die Anwesenheit des Moduls fließt in keine Berechnung eines elektronischen Assistenzsystems am Motorrad ein.
Vor dem Werkstattbesuch
Die meisten Besitzer ziehen es ab. Das dauert fünf Minuten, lässt die Steckverbindungen im Originalzustand und erspart ein Gespräch, das sich leichter vermeiden als führen lässt.
Der Motor ist nicht gefährdet
Die Korrektur ist gering, sie wirkt dort, wo es darauf ankommt, in Richtung eines angereicherten Gemischs, und alle Schutzfunktionen des Serien-Steuergeräts bleiben aktiv. Dies ist kein Gerät, das einen Motor abmagern lassen kann.
Nach einem Service
Beim Service des Motorrads muss am Modul nichts zurückgesetzt werden. Filter-, Kerzen- und Ölwechsel haben überhaupt keine Wechselwirkung damit.
