The JP MJ 008 is the Memjet EVO power module for the ZX-10 R, a preset fuel module that corrects the mixture without anything being written to the motorcycle's own electronics.

Built Around a Rulebook
Kawasaki's superbike was designed with World Superbike homologation in mind, which shows in a cylinder head that wants revs and a road map that hides it.
Preset, Not Programmable
There is no laptop, no software and no session on a dyno. JetPrime supplies the module with a curve worked out for that engine, and the owner's job ends at plugging it in. That is the whole difference between this and the programmable unit alongside it.
The Closed Loop Window
Modern controllers only trim against the oxygen sensor in a narrow band of load and revs. Outside that band the map runs open loop, and that is exactly where an added correction has room to work.
Selling the Motorcycle
The module comes off in minutes and goes with the bike or stays with the owner. Either way the machine on offer is a standard one, which suits most buyers.
Somewhere Dry and Secure
Under the seat on most bikes, occasionally under the tank. It needs to be where water does not sit and where the harness is not under tension when the suspension moves.
The Strongest Case
An older injected engine, an aftermarket silencer and a rider who has noticed the hesitation. That is where the product does exactly what its description says.
Commuting
Stop-start traffic is the opposite case. Every junction is a transition off a closed throttle, which is exactly the region where a lean factory map is most obviously lean.

JetPrime works the curve out on their own equipment for each engine family. That is invisible in the product and it is the entire reason a preset module can work at all.
