An einer KTM 1050 Adventure (2015–2016) übernimmt JP PDQ KT032 E die Bedienelemente, die ein Quick-Throttle-Umbau ohne Platz zurücklässt. Dieses frühere V2-Adventure-Modell hat ein eigenes Lenker- und Steckerlayout, weshalb der Block eigens für diese ältere Generation gefräst ist und nicht von einem aktuellen Modell übernommen wurde.

Eine ältere Plattform, weiter versorgt
Die 1050 Adventure liegt vor der aktuellen Generation der KTM-V2-Modelle, und ihr Schalterstecker ist mit neueren Modellen der Reihe nicht austauschbar. Diese Artikelnummer hält die ältere Generation auf der Liste, statt ihr einen Umweg zu überlassen. Die gleiche Überlegung gilt unabhängig davon, ob das Motorrad sonst original bleibt oder stark umgebaut wird.
Bronze auf einem gut gealterten Motorrad
Eloxierte Bronze passt zu einem Motorrad, das bereits einige Jahre gut getragen hat, und setzt einen warmen Akzent, ohne wie ein offensichtlicher Nachrüstteil zu wirken. Die Farbe steckt im Aluminium und altert im gleichen Tempo wie der Rest des Teils.
Ein Gehäuse für die verdrängten Schalter
Sobald der originale rechte Schalter mit dem Gaszug verschwindet, den er bediente, brauchen seine Funktionen einen neuen Platz. Dieser Block hält sie in annähernd derselben Position, sodass sich am Griffgefühl wenig ändert. Daran ändert sich nichts an der eigentlichen Montage, sobald das Teil einmal in der Hand liegt.
Kein Rätselraten bei der Passung
Da Lenkerdurchmesser und Stecker der 1050 Adventure von den größeren Geschwistern 1190 und 1290 abweichen, ist dieses Teil genau für diese Kombination gebaut und nicht als pauschale Lösung für die ganze Baureihe beschrieben. Bei der Bestellung lohnt es sich, Fahrzeug und Artikelnummer gemeinsam bereitzuhalten.
Auch als Titanium-Version
Derselbe Block wird eloxiert in Titanium als eigenes Angebot geführt, für Besitzer, die einen kühleren Grauton zur Originallackierung bevorzugen. Beide Farben funktionieren identisch, die Wahl ist rein optisch. Das hält den gesamten Umbau reversibel, was wichtig wird, falls das Motorrad später den Besitzer wechselt.
