Dieser Block stellt die rechten Bedienelemente wieder her, die der Umbau verdrängt.

Ein Supermoto mit der Gaslogik eines Sportlers
Die aufrechte Haltung und der breite Lenker der Dorsoduro gehören zur Supermoto-Welt, nicht zum Sportler, doch der Reiz einer kürzeren, schärferen Gasannahme bleibt unabhängig von der Sitzposition gleich. Wer sie nachrüstet, braucht trotzdem einen Platz für die verdrängten Schalter. Die gemeinsame Teilenummer spiegelt einen gemeinsamen Montagepunkt wider, keine identische Sitzposition zwischen beiden Maschinen.
Die Lücke eines kürzeren Gaswegs füllen
Ein verkürzter Gasweg schafft Platz unter dem Griff, nimmt aber die Serienfunktionen der rechten Seite mit. Dieser Block ist für diesen Platz am Lenker der Dorsoduro gefräst, ohne den breiteren Supermoto-Griff einzuengen. Diese Lücke sitzt dort, wo sonst der eigene Schalterblock eines Supermoto wäre, nicht von einem schmaleren Sportler-Lenker übernommen.
Ein Bronzeton, in das Ergal eingearbeitet
Die Eloxierung dringt in die Oberfläche des Aluminiums ein statt sie zu überziehen, der Farbton hält also der exponierteren Sitzposition eines Supermoto stand, mit mehr Handschuhkontakt als bei einem verkleideten Sportler. Die aufrechte Haltung eines Supermoto bedeutet trotzdem, dass die Hand des Fahrers viel Zeit am Schaltergehäuse verbringt.
Abgedichtet über das reine Straßenmaß hinaus
Die verbauten Schaltelemente erfüllen einen Militärstandard für Dichtheit gegen Feuchtigkeit, Hitze und Vibration, weit über das, was eine straßenzugelassene Dorsoduro allein erzeugt. Besitzer, die die Dorsoduro durch alle Jahreszeiten fahren statt sie im Winter einzulagern, merken diesen Spielraum am meisten.
Plug-and-Play, nur für dieses Modell
Der Kabelbaum steckt auf Aprilias Originalstecker, ohne dass etwas verlötet wird, und der Block ist nur für die Dorsoduro 900 gefräst, funktionsfähig nur mit bereits montiertem JetPrime-Schnellgasgriff. Montiert an der RSV4, mit der sich dieses Teil die Nummer teilt, säße er an einer völlig anderen Lenkerform.
