Der Mittelklasse-Monster
Ducati hat die Form der Monster beibehalten und den Hubraum auf ein Maß reduziert, das auch für Einsteiger nutzbar ist. Mit diesem Motorrad kamen viele Fahrer erstmals mit einem Ride-by-Wire-Gasgriff in Kontakt.
Das Original lässt sich wieder einbauen
Alles wird so vom Lenker abgenommen, wie es montiert wurde, und die serienmäßige Baugruppe wird mit derselben Reset-Prozedur wieder eingebaut. Die Änderung ist in keiner Weise dauerhaft.
Welches Diagnosegerät
Was auch immer das Motorsteuergerät dieses Modells ausliest. Ein Händler macht das in Minuten, ein Besitzer mit der passenden Schnittstelle an der Werkbank.
Seilzug-Gefühl ohne Seilzug
Die vom Hersteller angegebene Absicht ist das Gewicht und die Progression eines Seilzug-Gasgriffs. Die Elektronik hat dieses Gefühl entfernt, und hier wird versucht, es zurückzugeben.
Nur eine Farbe
Schwarz eloxiert ist das, was der Hersteller anbietet. Es gibt keine Oberflächenwahl und nichts weiter anzugeben als das Modell.
Ein Hinweis zur Garantie
Ein Händler erkennt eine gewechselte Gasgriff-Baugruppe. Bei einem Motorrad, das noch in der Garantiezeit ist, ist es der einfachere Weg, das Serienteil vor einem Werkstatttermin wieder einzubauen.

Rennstreckenfahrer, schnelle Landstraßenfahrer und alle mit kleinen Händen bemerken es sofort. Ein Pendler im Stadtverkehr gewinnt dagegen gar nichts.
Dreihundert Gramm
Die Baugruppe wiegt annähernd so viel wie die Kunststoffversion, sodass niemand am Lenker einen Unterschied spüren wird. Das ist kein Gewichtssparteil, und der Katalog gibt sich auch nicht als solches aus.
