Das rahmenlose Superbike
Ducati hat den Lenkkopf an die Zylinderköpfe gehängt und auf den Gitterrohrrahmen verzichtet. Es war das radikalste Serien-Superbike seit Jahren, und Clubfahrer nahmen es sofort an.
Aus dem Vollen gefräst
Ergal gefräst statt gegossen, weshalb der Körper die Stöße übersteht, die eine obere Gabelbrücke in einer Saison voller Rangiermanöver abbekommt.
Was der originale Block ist
Ein Schließzylinder, ein Schalterpaket und bei modernen Motorrädern eine Wegfahrsperren-Antenne, alles in einem Gussteil durch die obere Gabelbrücke verschraubt.
An der oberen Gabelbrücke
Die Platte folgt bei den meisten Modellen der Form der Gabelbrücke, weshalb sich die Artikelnummer selbst zwischen ähnlich aussehenden Motorrädern unterscheidet.
Was wohin passt
Der originale Zündstecker des Motorrads wird unverändert in den neuen Körper gesteckt. Kein Kabel wird irgendwo abisoliert, verbunden oder verlängert.
Aluminium, gefräst und eloxiert
Der Körper wird aus einer Legierung der 7000er-Serie gefräst, die Oberfläche anschließend eingefärbt. Nichts ist aufgeklebt, das an einer Kante abheben könnte.
Zwei Kaufgründe
Entweder wird das Motorrad für die Rennstrecke vorbereitet, oder der originale Zylinder ist defekt und der Besitzer hat entschieden, nicht Gleiches durch Gleiches zu ersetzen.

Wer eine Zubehör-Lenkerbrücke montiert, sollte beide zusammen prüfen. Einzeln passen sie; kombiniert können sich die Bohrungspositionen widersprechen.
