The JP KS MV001 answers the F4RR 1000's ignition circuit with a button rather than a barrel, and leaves every other control on the motorcycle alone.

Ohlins and Forged Wheels
The RR is the F4 specification bought by owners who ride it rather than photograph it, which makes it the version that turns up at track days.

The rating covers high-pressure, high-temperature washing. A switch sitting in the open above the front wheel needs it and most switches do not have it.
What the Original Block Is
A lock barrel, a switch pack and on modern bikes an immobiliser aerial, all in one casting bolted through the top yoke.
Starting the Bike
The starter button stays where it was on the switchgear. This part replaces the ignition block and not the controls around it.
Wiring Length
The connector sits where the block's did, so the loom does not need extending. That is part of what model-specific means here.

No key to lose, no barrel to seize in winter and a top yoke that looks like it belongs on a race bike rather than a showroom floor.
Nothing to Configure
There is no setup, no pairing and no procedure. Bolt it on, plug it in and the motorcycle behaves as it did with the key turned.
On a Bike That Also Sees Roads
A dual-purpose machine is the wrong candidate. The steering lock and the immobiliser exist for reasons that do not stop applying at weekends.
The Plate Thickness
It follows the yoke so the instruments and the tank keep their spacing. A generic plate would sit proud and look it.
Why the Rating Is Worth Paying For
Race bikes are cleaned with hot water at close range, often within an hour of coming off a circuit. IP69K is the standard written for exactly that treatment, and a switch without it becomes intermittent in a season rather than a decade.
